Techniques are disclosed relating to a delayed presentation of authentication challenge for users, such as in the context of a chat session. In various embodiments, a server system receives an indication of a request for service initiated by a user in a chat session within an application executed by a client device. The request for service involves an authentication of the user that is dependent on the authentication being successfully completed within a particular time period after the authentication is initiated. The server system delays the initiation of authentication for the request for service until a readiness condition is satisfied. The readiness condition includes the server system being available to process the request for service, as well as subsequently detecting engagement with the user relating to the request for service. In response to the readiness condition being satisfied, the server system initiates the authentication of the user.

Delayed user authentication

Systems and methods for smart cloud caching using edge computing and real-time customer journey insights are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system identifies a trend in communications received by a first edge cloud server, wherein each communication corresponds to a customer journey comprising user action steps performed in a client application. The system determines which user action steps cause API invocations to non-edge cloud servers and generates a sequence of API invocations in an order associated with the sequence of user action steps of the customer journey. The sequence of API invocations may be chained and/or bundled and stored in a cache for replication at edge cloud servers. The system may determine that the trend is pervasive in a geographical location based on satisfaction of a criteria, and replicate the cached sequence of API invocations at a cache of a second edge cloud server that services the geographical location.

A method includes receiving, by a token provider server, a first request for a first token that is associated with first information from a first application. The first request for the first token is part of an application session between a plurality of applications that includes the first application. The token provider server provides the first token to the first application. The token provider server receives the first token from a second application of the plurality of applications. The token provider server provides first information associated with the first token to the second application. The first information enables an action to be performed by the second application based on the first information.

Systems and methods for using a blockchain to share secondary content across multiple platforms are provided. A first platform receives content, such as an image or video. A content identifier is generated for the content. The first platform also receives secondary content, such as comments and reactions for the content. The content identifier is used to select a blockchain that stores the secondary content received by the first platform. When the content is shared with the second platform, the content identifier is shared with the content. The second platform uses the content identifier to retrieve secondary content associated with the content from the blockchain.

Systems and methods for voice authentication are disclosed. In an embodiment, a computer system may determine that a user is eligible for establishing a voice authentication capability for a user account during a real-time audio communication between a user device corresponding to the user and a communication system associated with an electronic service provider. The computer system may enhance a recording quality of a portion of the real-time audio communication and record a voice sample for the portion of the real-time audio communication at the enhanced recording quality. The computer system may generate a voiceprint based on the voice sample and enable the voice authentication capability such that the user can be authenticated by voice in future audio communications with the communication system in a minimally intrusive fashion where normal conversation can be used to capture voice samples which can be compared to the voiceprint to authenticate the user.

There are provided systems and methods for biometric authentication during voice data transfers. A user may initiate voice communications with a service provider endpoint that provides automated services to the user through the voice or audio communications, such as an interactive voice response (IVR) system where a user may navigate menus through audio commands. The user may by required to authenticate their identity during the phone call or other voice data transfer, which may be done by entering a biometric, such as a fingerprint. The biometric may be converted to biometric feature data and provided to one or more token service providers. The token service providers may provide one or more tokens for the biometric, which may be used as the authentication token. This token may then be transmitted to the IVR system through the user's endpoint using a dialer feature of the endpoint.
