An augmentation service receives message information about a message being authored by a message sender. The augmentation service calls a topic extraction service to extract a topic from the message information and then accesses inferences, based upon the topics, to identify a suggested augmentation to the message. The suggested augmentation is surfaced for the sender of the message. Similarly, a messaging system can process the message prior to sending it to a recipient and insert suggested augmentations into the message so that the recipient sees a message which has additional content over that which was sent by the sender.

A user's profile picture is updated from a live video stream. A profile updater analyzes the still images that make up the live video stream and identifies one or more target characteristics of a subject in the still images. Using the target characteristics, one or more still images are selected for use as the updated profile picture. The user provides feedback regarding the selected images, which is used to refine the still image selection.

Embodiments provide an adaptive issue type identification platform for automatically determining an issue type in an enterprise-level software development issue-tracking application. Embodiments include receiving a request to generate an issue data object, causing initializing of the issue data object in a data store, causing display of an issue management capability selection interface, and receiving issue capability selection input in response to user engagement with the issue management capability selection interface. In response to receiving the issue capability selection input, the adaptive issue type identification platform fetches an operational capability set from a capability registry based on the issue capability selection input, causes the association of the operational capability set to the issue data object at the data store, determines an issue type identifier for the issue data object based on the operational capability set, and updates metadata associated with the issue data object to include the issue type identifier.

A method for preventing a collision between a first object and a second object using a camera. The method includes capturing images of the first object and the second object using the camera, accessing a database of point clouds, and identify a first point cloud corresponding to the first object and a second point cloud corresponding to the second object within the database of point clouds, where the first point cloud corresponds to the first object being a person. The method further includes calculating a distance between the first object and the second object and comparing the distance to a threshold. The method further includes generating a notification when the distance is below the threshold.

Systems and methods for predicting and preventing collisions

Embodiments provide a user-defined external support request routing platform for routing a client support request initiated by a client computing device associated with an external communications platform. Embodiments also include receiving a support communications integration definition object comprising an external communications platform type identifier, an external communications platform provider identifier, an external communications platform address, and an external communications platform credential. In response to receiving the support communications integration definition object, embodiments update a support communications platform integration associated with an external communications support request routing system. Embodiments also include parsing a client support request to identify support routing data and determining a designated external communications platform address and a designated external communications platform credential from the support communications platform integration based on the support routing data. Embodiments also include causing output of the client support request to the designated external communications platform address and initiating a client support session.

Architecture that enables a user to designate acceptance to receiving social cards from other user in a social network using a personal digital assistant. A mapping component maintains the mappings of all users who have accepted to participate in card sharing and the acceptance level. A whitelist of users can be created that lists the users to whom a social card can be sent from an endpoint. The user can create local groups dynamically at runtime on the local endpoint, where the local groups enable the sharing of the personalized content with multiple users concurrently. The shared card is selected by the sending user and becomes available to the PDA on the proactive canvas of the recipient's PDA along with other cards. Based on the user engagement history, these cards can be ranked among other cards social or non-social PDA cards. Conflation, push notifications, and filtering are also provided.

Sharing personalized entities among personal digital assistant users

Techniques for tuning parameters for machine learning models are described. Different values for a parameter are tested to determine the value that results in an optimized model. A parameter value may be selected for testing using a search algorithm based on how the model performs with respect to other values for the parameter. Different values may be tested until a stopping criterion (such as time for testing, number of trials, amount of enhancement in performance, etc.) is met. In some embodiments, the techniques may be used to determine parameter values for natural language processing models.

Model configuration

A computing system obtains a document that is to be shared between a first user and a second user. A first computing device of the first user displays a first local copy of the document. A second computing device of the second user displays a second local copy of the document. While a first view of the document corresponding to a state of the first local copy is being presented, the computing system receives an indication that the second user is to assume control of presentation of the document from the first user. The computing system receives state data from the second computing device that is indicative of a second view of the document corresponding to the second local copy. Based upon the state data, the computing system causes a state of the first local copy of the content to be updated to present the second view.

Techniques for determining attributable data in a natural language user input that can be used to identify a specific user are described. A system may use various data signals determined using different components. The system may process the various signals to make a final determination on whether the input includes attributable data. The system may use a first component to detect user-identifiable data in the input. The system may use a second component to determine whether the input is potentially attributable to a particular user.

User data processing

A framework for enhanced search is provided to enable the user to contextually search documents, based on specified events. A management framework provides systems for obtaining a user's contextual data and the user's interaction data for which a Context Graph and an Interaction Graph are created, respectively. The user's context data include the various events associated with the user. The user's interaction data include times and locations the user interacted with a particular document, which device was used, the type of interaction, etc. The data from the two graphs are correlated and joined into an event graph. Upon receiving a natural language query from a user, one or more contextual query elements are identified, and the event graph is spanned to identify matching results which are then provided to the requesting user device.

Contextual document recall

An ultrasound imaging system includes a thermally conductive frame and a number of electronic components and a display that are sealed within the frame. The frame further includes a plenum extending through the frame with surfaces that are thermally coupled to the electronic components and the display. An active cooling mechanism, such as one or more fans, moves air through the plenum to remove heat generated by the electronic components and display. The plenum is environmentally sealed so that moisture, dust, air or other contaminants drawn into the plenum do not contact the sealed electronic components and display in the frame.
