In some situations, multiple barcodes encoding payment links are identified in the scene. In such situations, for each of the multiple barcodes encoding payment links, the barcode is displayed along with the payment link encoded in the barcode and a description of the payment link (e.g., a name of the digital wallet corresponding to the payment link). Various additional information to help the user select one of the payment links may also be displayed, such as a current balance in the digital wallet corresponding to the payment link, rewards for using the digital wallet, discounts for using the digital wallet, and so forth.

The electronic device receives, from image capturing device(s), local media content including image(s) and/or video(s). The electronic device monitors execution of a media application that accesses remote media content and performs content recognition to identify object(s) contained in the remote media content. In response to determining that remote media content contains object(s) that is also identified in the local media content, stores the remote media content in a data structure in memory. The electronic device uploads, via a communication network to a network storage service, all media content stored in the data structure.

Techniques for user image presentation based on region priority are described and are implementable to enable an image of a user to be inserted into media content. For instance, media content is generated that includes at least one high priority region and at least one low priority region. Further, a user image is captured to be inserted into the media content. Accordingly, the user image is inserted into the at least one low priority region to avoid obstructing high priority visuals displayed within the at least one high priority region.

The method further includes determining that the gesture is associated with triggering the first camera to capture images within the first FOV and in response to determining that the gesture is associated with triggering the first camera to capture images within the first FOV, capturing, via the first camera, a first image within the first FOV.

The method includes monitoring, by at least one processor of an electronic device an amount of light impinging on each of a first lens of a first image capturing device and a second lens of a second image capturing device. The method includes, in response to detecting the blockage of light entering a lens of one of the at least two image capturing devices, and the blockage occurring for a duration exceeding a preset time, setting, as an active image capturing device among the at least two image capturing devices, a selected one of the at least two image capturing devices having a corresponding lens at which the blockage is detected.

In response to determining that the first electronic device is being used by a driver in a vehicle, the method includes: receiving data about the first electronic device that indicates whether current driving conditions allow the driver to communicate without degrading driving performance; and restricting transmission of new communication inputs from the communication session to the first electronic device to reduce distractions to the driver when the received data indicates the driver is potentially in a challenging driving condition.

The controller uploads, via a communication network to a network storage service, the portion of the media content stored in the digital camera image data structure.

In response to determining that the facial expression is a mood associated expression, the controller determines, from the first image stream, an eye gaze direction of the person. The controller determines a region of interest (ROI) aligned with the eye gaze direction. The controller captures the second image stream and identifies an object contained within the ROI. The controller communicates a notification including the expression and the object within the ROI to an output device.

The controller triggers an image projector to present the object(s) within the field of view of the person to respond to the facial expression trigger.

The described implementations further enable generation of an itinerary including personalized digital content. In an example, an input including a location is received. Environment content is generated that depicts a scene of the location. User content is generated that includes a representation of one or more individuals. Personalized content is then generated by incorporating the representation of the one or more individuals into the scene, and the personalized content is output for display. The personalized content is further usable to generate a personalized itinerary for a user.

The method includes connecting to a communication session with second electronic device(s) via a communication subsystem of the electronic device and via a communication network. The method includes receiving an indication of a challenging driving condition from a first image stream from image capturing device(s) positionable to have a field of view encompassing a face of a driver of a vehicle and/or a detected condition from sensor(s) that detects external conditions to the vehicle that can require the driver to be more attentive while the vehicle is in motion. In response to receiving the indication of the challenging driving condition, the method includes communicating a notification over the communication session to the second electronic device(s), the notification indicating that the driver is in the challenging driving condition.

The electronic device receives first image content from a first image capturing device of an electronic device. The electronic device receives second image content from a second image capturing device. The second image capturing device has a second field of view (FOV) that differs from a first FOV of the first image capturing device. The controller identifying, during an image capturing process for a target image within the first FOV, whether a condition exists that causes a distortion in a white balance of the first image content. In response to identifying that the condition exists, the controller captures the second image content within the second FOV, determining an AWB value for the second image content, and automatically adjusting the first image content using the AWB value for the second image content.
