A horticultural lighting fixture including a light bar including a plurality of solid state light sources arranged in a linear array along a longitudinal axis of the light bar; and a light bar support structure that couples with the light bar to support the light bar in a fixed spaced relationship with the light support structure, the light bar support structure including at least two fasteners at opposing terminal ends of the light bar support structure to attach to a vertical support.

Light source system for horticulture applications

An LED lamp includes a housing having an endcap, an optical portion, and components located within the housing, the components including a plurality of LED segments and a reconfiguration circuit configured to route LED segment electrical connections from a serial to a parallel mode, an LED driver circuit, a line sense circuit to detect presence/absence of AC line voltage, and a rechargeable battery connected to a boost driver circuit to provide electrical power to the LED light source in the absence of line voltage, and a control processor to monitor and control one or more of the plurality of components. The LED lamp configured to illuminate all LED segments irrespective of the presence or absence of the line voltage.

LED battery backup lamp

A HID solid state retrofit lamp includes a circumferential array of solid state light sources mounted on circuit boards, a heat sink located in the lamp's interior volume, and a fan positioned in the interior volume to force airflow across the heat sink. A capper assembly includes at least one aperture to vent the interior volume, and an intermediate circuit board within the capper assembly. The intermediate circuit board distributes electrical power to the circuit boards by tabs and contacts extending from the boards that are mechanically bonded together. An optical transmissive shield is positioned exterior to the circumferential array, and can include prismatic structures to direct light emitted from the LED sources in an off axis direction.

Solid state lamp for retrofit

The present disclosure includes an LED lamp assembly comprising a glass envelope, an LED platform supported by a stem arrangement disposed within the envelope, a base hermetically sealed to the envelope, a gas disposed within the envelope providing thermal conductivity between the LED platform and the envelope, and a getter disposed within the envelope for absorbing volatile organic compounds. The lamp may maintain a ratio of helium to oxygen that achieves both an acceptable thermal conductivity and an acceptable lumen output over the life of the LED lamp.

Glass LED assembly

A bipartite capper component for an illuminating lamp includes a first portion formed of a first material and a second portion formed of a second material different from the first material. The second portion of the capper component is in contact with the first portion of the capper component. The first portion of the capper component is configured to threadedly engage within a standard threaded metal base component of the illuminating lamp.

Anti-detachment capper for LED retrofit lamps

According to some embodiments, a system and housing provide a lamp including a heat sink including: an annular tube including a first end and a second end, a plurality of fins extending radially from an exterior surface of the annular tube, wherein a length of each fin extends from the first end of the annular tube to the second end of the annular tube; a plurality of light sources in thermal contact with the heat sink; a driver circuit operative to provide the input voltage and current for the plurality of light sources; and a capper positioned at the second end of the annular tube, wherein the capper is operative to be received in a socket. Provided is an LED retrofit lamp interfacing with a high intensity discharge (HID) ballast that includes a lighting source having a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs), one or more heat sink components dissipating heat generated by the LEDs, and an LED driver configured to operate the LEDs. The LED retrofit lamp is disposed within an HID housing and the HID ballast is electrically connected with the LED driver, and supplies power to the LED driver for operating the LEDs.

Light emitting diode retrofit lamp for high intensity discharge ballast

A high intensity discharge lamp includes an electrically insulating arc tube. A sealed shroud encloses the arc tube. An electrically conductive frame member is disposed inside the shroud and is electrically connected to an electrical conductor that extends in the arc tube. Electrically conductive foil is fastened to the frame member and forms a closed loop that encircles a leg of the arc tube by an angle in a range of at least 270 degrees to 360 degrees. The foil can be connected to the frame member and to itself. A distance from an outer surface of a flange of the arc tube leg to a proximal edge of the foil can range from 1.5 to 8 mm. A width of the foil can range from 1 mm to 4 mm.

High intensity discharge lamp with ignition aid

A lamp includes a discharge vessel with electrodes extending into the discharge vessel and an ionizable fill scaled within the vessel. The fill includes a buffer gas, optionally mercury, and a halide component. The lamp includes available oxygen, sealed within the discharge vessel, at a concentration of at least 0.1 &#x3bc;mol O/cc.

A lamp includes a discharge vessel with electrodes extending into the discharge vessel and an ionizable fill sealed within the vessel. The fill includes a buffer gas, optionally mercury, and a halide component comprising a sodium halide, a lanthanum halide, a thallium halide, and a calcium halide. The lanthanum halide is present in the halide component at a mol fraction of at least 0.03.

An electroded high watt ceramic metal halide lamp assembly is provided which comprises a light transmissive arc-tube surrounding at least one electrode, a fill disposed in the arc-tube that includes at least one metal halide component and at least one metallic halide getter. The metallic halide getter has a Gibbs Free Energy greater than mercury halide and less than thallium halide, vapor pressure less than mercury halide, free energy of formation of oxide less than Aluminum oxide.

The first end portion further includes a first transition section connected between the first tubular extension and the body portion.
