The method includes receiving an acceptance indication for the pick-up request that has an associated handoff protocol that is based upon a condition of the patient. The method includes generating a patient identification request requesting a scan of an identification tag of an individual. The method includes receiving image data and determining whether the image data includes an image of the identification tag. The method includes verifying an identity of the individual. Computerized rule based systems and methods for providing interactive handoff protocol user interfaces

One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving, at a passive sensor of a wearable identification device associated with a patient within a healthcare enterprise from a receiver of a patient status system and corresponding to a predetermined location within the healthcare enterprise, a request signal when the wearable identification device is detected at the predetermined location; deriving power for the passive sensor from the request signal and not from power circuitry within the wearable device; generating, at the passive sensor using the derived power, a transmission from the request signal, wherein the transmission includes identifying information associated with the wristband; and transmitting, from the passive sensor, the transmission to the receiver, wherein the transmission is utilized to update a status of the patient within the patient status system based upon detection of the passive sensor at the predetermined location. Patient identification using passive sensors

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for implementing secure database requests in a role-based application. In one example, the system may include at least one memory storing instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions. The instructions may include instructions to aggregate, within a database, patient-specific data and bed-specific data into aggregated data comprising one or more statistics; receive a request to access the aggregated data; extract the aggregated data from the database based upon the request; and generate a graphical user interface for a user from the extracted aggregated data.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for implementing secure database requests in a role-based application. In one example, the system may include at least one memory storing instructions and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions. The instructions may include instructions to receive, from a user device, a request to access data from a relational database; based on the request, extract the data from the relational database; perform one or more join commands on the data to generate an object in an object-oriented programming language having the joined data; convert the object to a data serialized format configured for use in a graphical user interface generator; and transmit the data serialized format to the user device.

Systems and methods are disclosed for providing interactive handoff protocol user interfaces. In one embodiment, a computerized system may comprise a memory storing instructions, and a processor of a first electronic device. The processor may be configured to receive a pick-up request from a second electronic device, receive an acceptance indication for the pick-up request via an input device, provide a GUI prompting a scan of an identification tag on an individual, the GUI including at least one button in a non-selectable state, capture an image of the identification tag using the first electronic device, determine an identity of the individual based on the captured identification tag image, compare the determined identity to an identity in the received pick-up request, and modify the at least one button to a selectable state, wherein selection of the at least one button advances a handoff protocol for the individual.

One embodiment provides a method, including: receiving an indication that a wearable device comprising a passive sensor is at a predetermined location within a healthcare enterprise, wherein the wearable device is associated with a patient within the healthcare enterprise; determining a status of the patient within an operational system associated with the healthcare enterprise; and updating, based upon the determined status of the patient within the operational system, a system associated with the healthcare enterprise, wherein the updating comprises updating a status of the patient within the system.
