A quick release system for an interior apparatus is disclosed. The system may include a release assembly including a release handle and release cables. The release handle may pull the release cables when a force is applied. The system may include a latch assembly including latches coupled to the release cables. The latches may include a latch hook positioned in an open position or a closed position. Upon applying the force to the release handle, the latch hook may release the apparatus to cause the apparatus to rotate about an axis. The system may include a locking assembly including a lever and a lock plate. Upon applying the force to the release handle, the lock plate may translate between the locked position and the unlocked position to disengage the lock plate from the tracks to cause the apparatus to translate along the tracks.

Quick release system and method for an interior aircraft cabin apparatus

A self-supporting berthing platform system is disclosed. The system may include a plurality of articulated panels including a first panel coupled to a second panel via at least one hinge assembly. The plurality of articulated panels may be configured to pivot between at least one of an upright position and a berth position. The system may include a hinge reinforcement assembly including a first reinforcement member and a second reinforcement member. The hinge reinforcement assembly may further include a flange. The system may include a panel reinforcement assembly including a first panel reinforcement member coupled to the first panel and a portion of at least one seatback frame and a second panel reinforcement member sub-assembly coupled to the second panel. The second panel reinforcement member sub-assembly may include at least one panel leg and at least one support block.

Self supporting berthing platform system for aircraft seats

A legrest assembly is disclosed. The assembly may include a plurality of frame members. The assembly may include one or more closeout panels arranged proximate to an opening within a storage compartment and configured to at least partially form the opening within the storage compartment and at least partially enclose one or more gaps formed between sidewalls of the storage compartment, the plurality of frame members, and a divan seat frame. The assembly may include a plurality of panel doors configured to open or close, the plurality of panel doors including a plurality of integrated frame members configured to couple the plurality of doors to a frame member of the plurality of frame members. The assembly may include a panel door latch mechanism configured to open the plurality of panel doors, the panel door latch mechanism including a door handle and a door latch assembly.
