This disclosure relates to methods of promoting immune responses against HIV and compositions related thereto. In certain embodiments, this disclosure relates to methods of vaccinating for HIV comprising administering to the subject a priming composition followed by a boosting composition. In certain embodiments, the priming composition comprises a recombinant virus such as recombinant MVA that encodes an Env protein of HIV or segment thereof. In certain embodiments, the boosting composition comprises a trimeric cyclically permuted gp120 chimeric protein reported herein or DNA encoding the same.

Compositions and methods for promoting immune responses to human immunodeficiency virus

The present disclosure provides a rapid, scalable, and high-throughput method of identifying the precise regions in a receptor protein which are involved in binding of a molecule of interest. The method of the instant disclosure is useful where the crystal structure of a protein of interest is not available. Also provided are surface display libraries, and methods of making the same.

Mapping protein binding sites and conformational epitopes using cysteine labelling and surface display library

The present disclosure relates to a polypeptide comprising hemagglutinin stem domain fragments that can elicit broadly cross-reactive anti-influenza antibodies and confer protection against influenza virus. The disclosure also provides a method of preparing the polypeptide with biochemical and biophysical properties that enhance its immunogenic properties. Also provided are recombinant DNA constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the nucleic acid encoding the polypeptide, as well as uses of the polypeptide, particularly in the prevention, and detection of influenza.
