The present invention relates to the combination of spirulina and palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) and/or pharmaceutically acceptable derivates or salts thereof, pharmaceutical formulations comprising the combination of spirulina and PEA and/or pharmaceutically acceptable derivates or salts thereof, optionally together with at least one physiologically acceptable excipient, and the use of the combination of spirulina and PEA and/or pharmaceutically acceptable derivates or salts thereof and formulations which include the said combination, for use in the prevention and/or treatment of tissue hyperactivation states, in the prevention and/or treatment of inflammatory pathologies, in the prevention and/or treatment of alterations in cardiac and/or coronary tissue, in the prevention and/or treatment of alterations in the vascular tissue, in the prevention and/or treatment of ophthalmic pathologies, preferably in the prevention and/or treatment of macular degeneration pathologies and glaucoma, in the prevention and/or treatment of dyslipidemia, in the prevention and/or treatment of alterations in pulmonary tissue, in the prevention and/or treatment of alterations in pelvic tissues, in the prevention and/or treatment of cellular alterations due to carcinogenesis, and/or in the prevention and/or treatment of dermatological alterations.

Combination comprising spirulina and palmitoylethanolamide and/or salts or pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof and their formulations, for use in the prevention and/or in the treatment of hyperactivated tissue conditions

The object of the present invention is the combination of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) and lycopene, and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts and/or derivatives thereof, the pharmaceutical formulations comprising the combination of PEA and lycopene, and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or derivatives thereof, optionally together with at least one pharmacologically acceptable excipient, and the use of the combination of PEA and lycopene, and/or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or derivatives thereof, and of the formulations comprising such a combination, in the treatment of inflammatory diseases.

Combination comprising palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) and lycopene for use in the treatment of inflammatory diseases

The present invention relates to a mixture containing up to two fatty acids selected from palmitic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid, gamma-linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, docosahexaenoic acid, azelaic acid and myristic acid and palmitoylethanolamide. In one embodiment of the present invention said mixture is characterized in that at least one of said up to two fatty acids is saturated. The present invention also relates to the use of the aforesaid mixture in the treatment of inflammatory and allergic pathologies.

Mixture of fatty acids and palmitoylethanolamide for use in the treatment of inflammatory and allergic pathologies

A therapy for renal diseases, in particular renal diseases, which develop in diabetic patients or patients who have been subjected to a treatment with an antitumor chemotherapy such as a platinum derivative and more generally cytotoxic drugs at renal level for treating of neoplastic diseases. More particularly, palmitoylethanolamide and diethanolamide of fumaric acid are used in the treatment of renal diseases, in particular those caused by dysmetabolic diseases or by toxic or chemotherapy agents, such as platinum derivatives. Palmitoylethanolamide is used preferably in micronized or ultra-micronized form. Diethanolamide of fumaric acid is used preferably in aqueous solution.
