Method of emptying a container filled with rod-like articles manufactured in the tobacco industry comprising the following stages: the container to be emptied is delivered to the entrance area of an intermediate store comprising adjacent channels separated from one another by walls; the rod-like articles are transferred by supporting plates from the container to the channels of the intermediate store; the channels of the intermediate store are filled with the rod-like articles; characterised in that during the transfer of the rod-like articles from the container to the channels of the intermediate store the intermediate store makes a reciprocating motion in the horizontal direction, transversely to the axis of the rod-like articles.

Method of emptying a container filled with rod-like articles manufactured in the tobacco industry

A filling system for a machine used, in a tobacco industry for filling trays with rod-shaped articles that are dispensed from a dispenser, the filling system comprising a filling unit comprising rotary rollers for facilitating the passing or traversing of the rod-shaped articles from the dispenser to the tray below the filling system and a blocking unit for blocking passing or traversing of the rod-shaped articles from the dispenser to the tray. In an embodiment, the blocking unit may comprise pressing elements movable in a direction of axes of the rotary rollers between a blocked position, in which the pressing elements are located at a first distance, not greater than a length of the rod-shaped articles, from a back wall of the dispenser and an unblocked position, in which the pressing elements are located at a second distance, greater than the length of the rod-shaped articles, from the back wall of the dispenser.

The object of the invention is an apparatus for filling transport containers () with rod-like articles of the tobacco industry, provided with an area () receiving the rod-like articles in the form of a mass flow, a rod-like article storage area () comprising at least two sidewalls, a filling unit () constituting the bottom wall of the storage area for transferring the rod-like articles from the storage area to the transport container, a lowering conveyor () working together with the filling unit (), adapted to lower the transport container while filling with the rod-like articles. The apparatus is characterised by being further provided with a counting module () designed to count the rod-like articles in the transport containers, adapted so that the individual rod-like articles being in the transport container are counted.

Method and apparatus for filling transport containers with rod-like articles of tobacco industry

Apparatus (') for axial centring of a rod-like article (&#x2032;) or a group () of rod-like articles wherein the rod-like article (&#x2032;) or the group () of rod-like articles is conveyed in a flute () situated on the circumference of a drum conveyor (), whereas the length of the article (&#x2032;) or the total length of articles in the group () may vary, provided with pusher elements () acting on the rod-like article (&#x2032;) or the group () of rod-like articles, characterized in that the pusher elements () of a shifting mechanism () are driven by a common driving unit (&#x2032;) and are connected in such a way that the force exerted by the driving unit (&#x2032;) is distributed to the pusher elements () acting axially on the rod-like article (&#x2032;) or the group () of rod-like articles. The object of the application is also a method of axial centring of the rod-like article () or the group () of rod-like articles wherein the rod-like article (&#x2032;) or the group () of rod-like articles is conveyed in the flute () situated on the circumference of the drum conveyor (), by means of the pusher elements (), whereas the length of the article (&#x2032;) or the total length of articles in the group () may vary, characterized in that the force exerted by the driving unit () is distributed to the pusher elements () of the shifting mechanism () acting axially on the rod-like article (&#x2032;) or the group () of rod-like articles.

Apparatus for centring of a rod-like article or a rod-like article group

A carrier for a container for rod-like articles of the tobacco industry, the carrier interior having a cuboid-like shape, the carrier having a bottom wall, a middle sidewall and two outer sidewalls=adjoining it, while from the side of the remaining walls of the abovementioned cuboid the carrier is open. An external movable element is attached to the carrier and extending along the middle sidewall. The height of the middle sidewall is lower than the height of the outer sidewalls, so that between the outer sidewalls and the upper edge of the middle sidewall there is a void space. The movable element is movable between a first position, in which it lies opposite to the middle sidewall, and a second position, in which it lies at least partially opposite to the void space or at least partially is situated within the void space above upper edge of the middle sidewall.

Carrier for a container for rod-like articles of the tobacco industry

A cleaning system for a transporting and storing device having adjustable capacity for tobacco industry rod-like elements, the device comprising at least one circular conveyor located on a stationary support element of the device and at least one circular conveyor of the device located on a rotary support element, wherein the conveyors are arranged one above another. The cleaning system comprises a plurality of cleaning units attached to the support elements and oriented towards a transporting surface of the conveyor located below a corresponding cleaning unit of the plurality of cleaning units and configured to remove contaminations from the transporting surface of the conveyor. At least a first cleaning unit of the plurality of cleaning units is attached to the stationary support element and at least a second cleaning unit of the plurality of cleaning units is attached to the rotary support element.

Cleaning system for a transporting and storing device having adjustable capacity for tobacco industry rod-like elements

The object of the application is a transferring method and apparatus for transferring of a rod-like article from a delivery apparatus to a receiving apparatus, whereas the article is transferred lengthwise between the delivery apparatus and the receiving apparatus, comprising an inlet unit for the lengthwise transfer of the rod-like article and for giving an inlet speed to the rod-like article, an outlet unit for the lengthwise transfer of the rod-like article and for giving an outlet speed to the rod-like article, a transferring channel through which a rod-like article is transferred between the inlet unit and the outlet unit characterized in that between the inlet unit and the outlet unit is situated a transferring unit designed to give a transferring speed to the rod-like article and to transfer the rod-like article along the transferring channel to the outlet unit.

Transfer method and transferring apparatus for transferring rod-shaped article

The object of the application is a filling hopper for a filling apparatus for multi-segment trays in the tobacco industry with a receiving region for rod like articles in the form of a mass flow and a storing region for rod like articles comprising side walls () and a bottom wall (), whereas the storing region has double partition walls () alternately forming a plurality of parallel cavities () and slots (), where the partition walls () extend in principle along the entire height of the storing region. The partition walls () are connected with each other by means of a carrying framework so that at least from one side free access to the articles inside the cavities () is maintained. The carrying framework comprises at least one fastening area ().

Filling hopper for a filling apparatus for multi-segment trays

A method of removing electrostatic charges from a tray by supplying pressurized ionized air, first along the bottom of the already turned over tray, and then, when unloading the tray, along its side walls or the inner walls of a compartment. A tray made of dielectric material and protected against negative action of the electrostatic field and having a conducting metal insert provided on the inside of the tray. The insert may have different shapes. A device for unloading compartment trays holding rod shaped elements, for use in the tobacco industry, is disclosed. The device includes an inlet conveyor for full trays, an unloading conveyor for unloading rod shaped elements into a throat, a conveyor for out-feeding stacks of rod shaped elements that have been unloaded into the throat, and an outlet conveyor for empty trays. A linear transporter for the trays has a gripping unit that grips the full trays and moves the full trays for unloading into the throat, and a second gripping unit that grips the empty trays and moves the empty trays for cleaning in a cleaning mechanism.

Assembly having a plurality of conveyors () and a variable capacity store () with one inlet () and one outlet () formed on two neighboring levels, a lower one () and an upper one (), closed with a common back plate (), fixed to a slide () making reciprocating movements, the concave surface () of which, on the interior side of the store () constitutes a conveyor (), provided with a rotary arm, fixed to a slide (), the axis of rotation of which is coaxial with a center of curvature of the surface () of the back plate (), and at the inlet () there is a swing mounted valve element () and a swing limiter () for displacing rod shaped elements (), whereas at the outlet () there is swing mounted valve element (). Store-transport assembly for elongated rod shaped elements, as well as method of controlling mass flow and filling and emptying of store-transport assembly for elongated rod shaped elements

A method and device is provided that separates non-parallel streams of displacing multi-layered stacks of rod-like elements which fill a horizontal conveyor (wherein the elements are displaced by force) and a channel positioned at an angle (wherein the elements are displaced by gravity.) The inside dimensions of the cross sections of the conveyor and the channel allow an equal flow of the elements. To separate the streams, the elements are removed from the adjoining area of the conveyor and the channel, wherein the stack of the elements is a passive stream, to the area of the conveyor or the channel, wherein the stack is an active stream. The space that is taken up by the removed elements equals the space of one quarter of the radius of the cylinder, wherein the walls of the cylinder that are parallel to the axis of the cylinder, separate multi-layered non-parallel streams of the elements.
