A medium voltage switchgear busbar disconnector system includes a busbar and a disconnector moveable part; wherein the busbar comprises a contact; wherein in a connected state the disconnector moveable part is configured to be connected to the contact; and wherein in a disconnected state the disconnector moveable part is configured to be disconnected from the contact.

Medium voltage switchgear disconnector system

A medium voltage switchgear or control gear includes at least one first compartment; a cable compartment; a plurality of main components; and a plurality of auxiliary components. The plurality of main components is housed in at least one part of the at least one first compartment. The plurality of auxiliary components is housed in the cable compartment. The second connector is configured to connect to the first connector to connect a cable in the cable compartment to a component of the plurality of main components. The cable compartment is configured to be disconnected from the at least one first compartment and wherein the cable compartment is configured to be spatially separated from the at least one first compartment.

Medium voltage switchgear or control gear

A voltage sensor is disclosed for high and medium voltage use, wherein a voltage divider is arranged in a housing with external creepage distance enlarging ribs. To implement structures for creepage path enlargement to a sensor housing in a very effective and easy way, the voltage divider is arranged in a housing or in housing modules which is or are covered at least partly by at least one shrinking tube of insulating material such that the shrinking creepage enlarging structures are implemented at least at outer surface of the shrinking tube.

Voltage sensor for high and medium voltage use and a method of making the same

A three-position disconnector switch includes an earthing contact, a power out contact, a power in contact, a piston, and a threaded rod. A length of the piston is such that in a first switch position an outer surface of a wall of the piston makes an electrical contact between the power out contact and the power in contact. The length of the piston is such that in a second switch position the outer surface of the wall of the piston does not make an electrical contact with either the earthing contact or the power in contact. The length of the piston is such that in a third switch position the outer surface of wall of the piston makes an electrical contact between the earthing contact and the power out contact. The piston includes an inner threaded section configured to engage with the threaded rod.

Three-position disconnector switch

A three-position disconnector switch includes a platform, a power in contact, a power out contact, an earthing contact, and a piston. In a first position, the piston contacts the power out contact and the power in contact. In a second position, the piston contacts the power out contact. In a third position, the piston contacts the power out contact and the earthing contact. The piston moves along an axis to transition between the different switch positions. The power in contact is mounted to the platform, the power out contact is mounted to the platform, and the earthing contact is mounted to the platform.

A three-position disconnector switch includes an earthing contact, a power out contact, a power in contact, and a piston. The power out contact comprises first and second parts connected by a leg portion. In a first position, the piston contacts the first part of the power out contact. In a second position, the piston contacts the first part of the power out contact and makes electrical contact with the second part. In a third position, the piston contacts the second part and makes electrical contact with the earthing contact. The piston is configured to move along an axis of the three-position disconnector switch to transition the three-position disconnector switch between the different switch positions.

A switchgear or control gear includes: at least one first compartment; at least one second compartment; a plurality of main switchgear or control gear components including a main busbar system, a three position linear or rotational movement disconnector, a circuit breaker, and at least a first part of an insulated cable connection; and a plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components including a disconnector drive and a circuit breaker drive. The plurality of main switchgear or control gear components are housed in the at least one first compartment. The plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components are housed in the at least one second compartment. When one or more of the plurality of main switchgear or control gear components is energized, the at least one first compartment is hermetically sealable or maintainable at an internal air pressure greater than ambient air pressure.

Switchgear or control gear

A switch includes a power in contact, a piston, a power out contact, a plurality of flexible locking elements, an earthing contact, and a threaded rod. In a first position, the piston contacts the power in contact and the power out contact. In a second position, the piston contacts the power out contact. In a third position, the piston contacts the earthing contact and the power out contact. The piston comprises an inner threaded section that engages the threaded rod. Rotation of the threaded rod moves the piston along an axis of the switch between the different switch positions. The piston comprises a groove extending in a direction parallel to the axis. Each of the flexible locking elements is configured such that a part of each of the flexible locking elements moves into and out of the groove as the piston is moved along the axis of the switch.

A switchgear or control gear includes: a first compartment; at least one removable module; a plurality of main switchgear or control gear components; and a plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components. The plurality of main switchgear or control gear components are sub-divided into a first group of components that have a lifetime greater than a threshold level and a second group of components that have a lifetime less than or equal to the threshold level. The plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components are sub-divided into a first group of components that have a lifetime greater than the threshold level and a second group of components that have a lifetime less than or equal to the threshold level.

Switchgear

A switchgear or control gear includes: at least one first compartment; a second compartment; a plurality of main switchgear or control gear components, the plurality of main switchgear or control gear components including a main busbar system, a three position linear or rotational movement disconnector, a circuit breaker, and a cable connection; and a plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components, the plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components including a disconnector drive and a circuit breaker drive. The plurality of main switchgear or control gear components are housed in the at least one first compartment. The plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control components are housed in the second compartment. The circuit breaker and three position or rotational movement disconnector are mounted vertically in the at least one first compartment.

Three phase switchgear or control gear

A circuit breaker pole for low voltage or medium voltage operation includes: a main body section; a first end section; and a second end section. The first end section is fixedly connectable to a wall of an enclosure. The second end section is fixedly connectable to the wall of the enclosure.

Circuit breaker pole for low voltage or medium voltage operation

A three phase switchgear or control gear includes: at least one compartment; a plurality of components for a first phase; a plurality of components for a second phase; and a plurality of components for a third phase. The plurality of components for the first phase, the plurality of components for the second phase, and the plurality of components for the third phase each include a main busbar, a three position linear or rotational movement disconnector switch, a single phase circuit breaker pole, and a cable connection. The plurality of components for the first phase, the plurality of components for the second phase, and the plurality of components for the third phase are housed in the at least one compartment.

Three phase switchgear using single phase equipment in single casing

A three-position disconnector switch includes: an earthing contact; a power out contact; a power in contact; a first piston; and a second piston. In a connected switch position the first piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact and the second piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact and the power in contact. In a disconnected switch position the first piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact and the second piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact. In an earthed switch position the first piston makes an electrical connection with the earthing contact and with the power out contact and the second piston makes an electrical connection with the power out contact.

A method of making sand casting moulds with a protective coating for a multiple process of reactive moulding of insulation components and products made by filling up a mould cavity with polymer materials, including composites, based particularly on epoxy resins or composites based on cellulose materials, the method wherein the process of infiltration of the mould structure is performed chemically by soaking through the raw mould structure with chemosetting or thermosetting material. The application of a protective layer on external surfaces of a sand casting mould is done by means of any spraying, immersion or deposition method, whereas material with anti-adhesive properties is used for the protective coating in the form of organic chemosetting, thermosetting, light-curing material or in the form of inorganic material, including metal.

The plurality of main switchgear or control gear components includes at least one main busbar system, at least one three position linear or rotational movement disconnector, at least one circuit breaker, and at least one cable connection. The plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components includes at least one disconnector drive and at least one circuit breaker drive. The plurality of removable modules are configured to be mounted horizontally within the at least one first compartment at a plurality of horizontal locations. Movement of a removable module from its horizontal location, the movement including a vertical movement, is configured to move the one or more auxiliary components housed in or associated with that module.
