A method for coupling a first medical device component to a second medical device component comprising altering the first medical device component from a natural state to an altered state, by reducing a cross-sectional dimension of the first medical device, fitting a first portion of the first medical device component in the altered state into a first opening of the second medical device component, wherein the first medical device component includes second portions not within the first opening of the second medical device component, and allowing the second portions of the first medical device component to revert back to the natural state.

Methods for coupling device components and related devices having such components

The present disclosure relates to the field of endoscopy. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods which allow the distal portion of a catheter to be visualized within the body using a colored marker and one or more secondary markers. In particular, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods which indicate when a medical device is properly positioned for deployment within a body lumen.

A method for coupling a first medical device component to a second medical device component includes altering the first medical device component from a natural state to an altered state, by reducing a cross-sectional dimension of the first medical device. The method further includes fitting a first portion of the first medical device component in the altered state into a first opening of the second medical device component. The first medical device component includes second portions not within the first opening of the second medical device component. The method further includes allowing the second portions of the first medical device component to revert back to the natural state.

Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, systems, and methods for tissue resection in a body lumen of a patient, and may include a body extending along an axis and a distal cap positioned distally of the body and coupled to a shaft extending along the axis. The body and the distal cap may be movable relative to each other. An anchoring mechanism may be capable of engaging the body and the distal cap proximate a selected tissue for resection in the body lumen. A tissue capture device may be deployable from the tissue resection device such that a selected tissue for resection is securable by the tissue capture device. The tissue resection device may further include a tissue resecting device for resecting the selected tissue for resection.

Devices, systems and methods for tissue resection

A circular knitting needle assembly allows for knitting of small circumferential areas of garments. The circular knitting needle assembly retains knitted loops on a flexible cable that is slidably engaged with a pair of elongated hollow knitting needles. Each of the knitting needles has an elongated channel extending substantially the entire length of the knitting needle, and an end of the flexible cable is retained within the elongated channel.
