A medical tool kit is provided for packaging, storing, and transporting medical instruments and tools of various types. The medical tool kit is capable of providing continuing sterilization to the medical instruments and tools kept inside the medical tool kit after the tool case is opened during its normal use in a medical procedure.

Medical tool kit

A bin system includes a plurality of bins arranged in stacks, wherein each of the bins in a stack includes a first element which interlocks with a second element in a lower bin in a stack of bins. The interlock holds the upper bin in a defined position on the lower bin. The first element includes a projection and the second element includes a lateral recess in a side wall of the bin. The system further includes two cross beams for supporting the stacks of bins, wherein the first element of the lowermost bin of a stack of bins is received between the two cross beams. The first element may comprise at least one additional projection arranged to engage an inner side of the side wall for additional support. The interlock between the first and second elements provides a self stacking function in that the interlock retains the upper bin on the lower bin.

Compression bin system

A display system for product stored in bins includes a first track member which can be fixed to an elongate support member, and a second track member which can be fixed to the first track member in a selected one of a plurality of relative positions to form a track having a height dimension which is dependent on the relative position selected. A plurality of product holders can be secured side-by-side in the track, the relative position of the track members being selected dependent on the height dimension of the product holders. A plurality of bins can be arranged side-by-side on shelves adjacent to the track, the elongate support member preferably being fixed to the distal end of a cantilever beam.

A clipboard may be assembled from a backboard and a clip assembly by sliding the clip assembly onto the top edge of the backboard. The clip assembly and the backboard are shaped so that the clipboard assembly has a substantially continuous contour along its top edge. Specifically, the top edge of the backboard is spaced away from the remainder of the top edge in the area where the clip assembly is attached. The amount of spacing away corresponds to the thickness of a lip that depends from the clip assembly and engages the top edge or the backboard in the area where the clip assembly is attached. The clip assembly is retained on the backboard by flanged rails that engage slots in the backboard and by ramped projections that engage detents and the backboard.

Clipboard assembly

A modular display system comprises a plurality of identical modules. Each module includes a vertical mounting surface, a pair of sidewalls, top surface and a bottom surface lying in planes which extend at right angles to the mounting surface. A pair of top rails lie above the top plane and form outward facing channels. A pair of bottom rails extend inward from respective sidewalls just above the bottom plane, each bottom rail engaging in a respective channel when two modules are assembled one above the other. The inner surfaces of at least one of the top rails and the bottom rails converge toward the top or bottom plane at an acute angle so that the inner surfaces of the top rails are received against the inner surfaces of the bottom rails in a press fit. The modules are latched in this position by a detent and shoulder arrangement.

Modular display system

A manual trash compactor comprising a can for holding the trash, a lever arm, at least one coupling arm coupling the lever arm to the can, and a plunging arm connected to the lever arm. There is also a compression plate connected to the plunging arm wherein this compression plate is designed to compress garbage inside the can. Disposed on top of the can is a collar and a cover coupled to the collar. The cover is coupled to the collar via a rotatable hinge. In a first embodiment of the invention, the can is disposed in a slidable tray so that the can, is able to be stored in a closed compartment. In addition, disposed adjacent to the can in the tray is a bin for storing other materials such as recyclable bottles. Coupled to either the can or the tray is a support means for supporting the can above a surface such as a kitchen floor. In a second embodiment of the invention the trash compactor is designed to be free standing wherein this trash compactor does not sit in a tray and also does not have a support means for supporting the can.

Manual trash compactor

A device for supporting objects for drying. This device contains a catch basin, for receiving fluid that drips off of these drying objects. Attached to the catch basin is a multi-part rack, wherein each part has a front end and a back end. The back end of each part of the multi-part rack is rotatably supported within the catch basin. In addition, there is also a complementary rack. This complementary rack is rotatably attached to the catch basin and extends in a substantially upright or vertical position. Both the multi-part rack and the complementary rack are comprised of a series of parallel extending slats that are spaced apart from each other to receive a plate between these parallel extending slats. These parallel extending slats are also designed to support a series of pots on either the multi-part rack or the complementary rack wherein these parallel extending slats allow water to drip down through the slats and into the catch basin.

Device for drying objects

A device for supporting objects for drying. This device contains a catch basin, for receiving fluid that drips off of these drying objects. Attached to the catch basin is a first adjustable rack, having a front end and a back end. The back end of the first adjustable rack is rotatably supported within the catch basin. There is also a second adjustable rack disposed in the basin. Both the first adjustable rack and the second adjustable rack are comprised of a series of parallel extending bars that are spaced apart from each other to receive a plate between these parallel extending bars. These parallel extending bars are also designed to support a series of pots on either the first adjustable rack or the second adjustable rack wherein these parallel extending bars allow water to drip down through the bars and into the catch basin. In addition, there is also an adjustable tray disposed adjacent to the adjustable racks wherein the adjustable tray is designed to support kitchen utensils and silverware in an upright manner for drying. This device can also be collapsed to allow this device to be folded up to stand freely upright on a substantially horizontal surface.

A frame having upper and lower tracks having a channel formed therein and a pylon having two angularly arranged panels disposed between the upper and lower tracks. The pylon slides along the channels to occupy any one of a plurality of positions relative to the frame. The pylon is secured in a selected position along the channel. Upper and lower wheels or slidable shoes may be mounted to the pylon to allow sliding of the pylon along the channels.

Shelf organizer

Measured quantity dispenser for frangible granules, which includes a housing having a lower slide surface with a front discharge opening, and a rear loading aperture above the slide surface for intake of such granules from a hopper. A receptacle movable in the housing between a rearward loading position and a forward discharge position, and contains a forward measuring bin of preselected volume and a rearward upper platform, the bin having an upper entrance registering with the aperture when the receptacle is in rearward position, and a lower exit registering with the opening when the receptacle is in forward position. A resilient leveling mechanism is arranged at the aperture front edge cooperating with the entrance and platform to prevent overlying granules in the aperture from moving forwardly between the mechanism and platform and being sheared or jammed between the aperture front edge and entrance rear edge, during receptacle forward movement with the granules at the exit sliding on the slide surface, and with the platform sliding against overlying granules in the aperture, for discharge of bin loaded granules through the opening when the receptacle reaches the forward position.

Measured quantity dispenser

A variable sized free standing promotional display for promotional advertising. In place of the normal cardboard display shelf of one size, the invention contemplates using end members of plastic having vertical pedestals above and below the end members. The end members include one-way locking tabs on both the side, upper and lower walls to receive an appropriately slotted and cut beam member, which may be made of corrugated cardboard from the packing materials. The side edges of the beam are received and locked by the one-way locking tabs and is centered and held rigidly by central vertical channels. The transverse length of the shelves may be varied, in accordance with the length of the beam member utilized. Vertical cardboard columns may be anchored on the pedestal members to provide a vertical promotional display of more than one shelf.
