A touch panel is provided. The touch panel includes a touch-sensing layer disposed on a substrate. A shielding layer is disposed on a shielding-film substrate. The shielding layer and the shielding-film substrate are disposed under the touch-sensing layer, wherein the shielding layer faces the touch-sensing layer. An adhesive layer is disposed between the touch-sensing layer and the shielding layer. An external circuit connection element has a first connection portion electrically connected with the touch-sensing layer and a second connection portion electrically connected with the shielding layer. The adhesive layer has a space and the second connection portion is disposed in the space. The space is filled with conductive glue. The conductive glue is between the second connection portion and the shielding layer. Moreover, a method for fabricating the touch panel is also provided.

Touch panels and fabrication methods thereof

A cover structure of a touch panel includes a cover plate, a patterned shielding layer, and a decoration layer. The cover plate has a visible region and a peripheral region including a mark region. The patterned shielding layer is disposed on the cover plate, and the patterned shielding layer is disposed in the peripheral region. The patterned shielding layer includes at least one hollow structure disposed in the mark region. A circumscribed region surrounding the hollow structure is defined in the mark region. A frame edge of the circumscribed region overlaps a most prominent circumscribed edge of the hollow structure. The decoration layer is disposed in the peripheral region and covers the hollow structure. An area of the decoration layer is larger than an area of the circumscribed region. A shape of the decoration layer corresponds to a shape of the frame edge of the circumscribed region.

Touch panel and cover structure thereof

The present disclosure relates to a touch panel having a shielding structure and a method of manufacturing the same. The touch panel having a shielding structure comprises a conductive ring disposed on periphery of an upper surface of a substrate, a shielding layer disposed on a lower surface of the substrate, and a plurality of conductive connection points electrically connecting the shielding layer and the conductive ring. By connecting the shielding layer and the conductive ring by the conductive connection points, impedance of the shielding layer is consistent for different distances between the shielding layer and flexible printed circuit, thereby eliminating noise interference from a liquid crystal display or an electronic device under the touch panel, while using the touch panel. Moreover, the manufacturing method of the touch panel with a shielding structure is a simple process, which reduces the manufacturing cost.
