The present invention relates to the use of a zeolitic adsorbent material based on faujasite (FAU) zeolite crystals, the Si/AI mole ratio of which is between 1.00 and 1.20, and the non-zeolitic phase (NZP) content of which is such that 0<NZP≤25%, for the non-cryogenic separation of industrial gases by (V)PSA, in particular of the air gases. The invention also relates to respiratory assistance machines comprising at least said zeolitic adsorbent material.

Separation of gases from air

The present invention relates to new zeolitic adsorbent materials which are particularly specific and adapted for the non-cryogenic separation of gases, and more particularly for the separation of nitrogen by adsorption in gas streams such as air, and also for the purification of hydrogen by adsorption of carbon monoxide (CO) and/or nitrogen (N), and also to the use thereof especially for the preparation of medical oxygen in oxygen concentrators for respiratory assistance.

Zeolitic agglomerated material, preparation process and use for non-cryogenic gas separation

Provided is a zeolitic adsorbent material. The material is based on LSX zeolite crystals the particle size distribution of which is characterized by a peak width (2&#x3c3;) in a range from 6.0 to 20.0, limits included, for a number average diameter (d50) in a range from 0.5 &#x3bc;m to 20.0 &#x3bc;m. The material has an Si/Al atomic ratio comprised in a range from 1.00 to 1.15, limits included. The lithium content of the material, expressed by weight of LiO, is in a range from 9% to 12% by weight relative to the total weight of the material. The material has a non-zeolitic phase (NZP) content such that 0&#x3c;NZP&#x2264;8% by weight relative to the total weight of the material.

Zeolite adsorbent material, method of preparation and use for non-cryogenic separation of industrial gases

The present invention concerns the use, for gas separation, of at least one zeolite adsorbent material comprising at least one FAU zeolite, said adsorbent having an external surface area greater than 20 m&#xb7;g, a non-zeolite phase (PNZ) content such that 0&#x3c;PNZ&#x2264;30%, and an Si/Al atomic ratio of between 1 and 2.5. The invention also concerns a zeolite adsorbent material having an Si/Al ratio such that 1&#x2264;Si/Al&#x3c;2.5, a mesoporous volume of between 0.08 cm&#xb7;gand 0.25 cm&#xb7;g, a (Vmicro&#x2212;Vmeso)/Vmicro ratio of between &#x2212;0.5 and 1.0, non-inclusive, and a non-zeolite phase (PNZ) content such that 0&#x3c;PNZ&#x2264;30%.

Zeolite adsorbents having a high external surface area and uses thereof

Process for separating xylenes starting from a feed comprising cuts of isomers of aromatic hydrocarbons containing 8 carbon atoms, in a simulated moving bed, by selective adsorption of a xylene isomer in the presence of a desorbent, by means of particles of agglomerated zeolitic adsorbent based on zeolite crystals with a number-average diameter less than or equal to 1.2 &#x3bc;m, wherein the number-average diameter of said particles of adsorbent is between 150 &#x3bc;m and 500 &#x3bc;m and the mechanical strength measured by the Shell method series SMS1471-74 adapted for agglomerates with a size below 500 &#x3bc;m is greater than or equal to 2 MPa.

Method for separating xylenes in a simulated moving bed by means of a zeolitic adsorbent solid having a particle size of between 150 and 500 microns

The present invention relates to zeolite materials in the form of agglomerates comprising at least one mesoporous zeolite and having both the characteristics of mesoporous zeolites, the properties associated with microporosity and the mechanical properties of zeolite agglomerates without mesoporous zeolite. The invention also relates to the process for preparing the said zeolite materials in the form of agglomerates.

The present invention relates to spherical agglomerates based on zeolite(s) and clay(s), having controlled size and morphology, in particular a size of less than or equal to 600 &#x3bc;m, very good sphericity, and a high content of zeolitic material, to the process for the production thereof.
