An electrically actuated locking mechanism may include a microprocessor for control of the locking mechanism, and the locking mechanism may be used to lock a drawer slide in a closed position. The microprocessor may be in a housing of the locking mechanism, and the microprocessor may command a motor to operate in a first direction to drive lock components to a locked status and command the motor to operate in a second direction to drive the lock components to an unlocked state.

Drawer slide and electronically actuated locking mechanism

Vending systems for use in a vehicle are disclosed. In some embodiments, the systems include the following: a product housing positioned in a vehicle, the product housing including an exposed surface having a product delivery opening; a removable inventory cartridge; a product dispensing mechanism including a product dispensing opening, the product dispensing mechanism being configured for dispensing a product from the removable inventory cartridge in the product housing to the product dispensing opening; a product delivery conduit including a first end and a second end, the first end being joined with the product dispensing opening and the second end defining a product delivery opening, which is formed in the exposed top surface of the product housing and positioned in a passenger compartment of the vehicle; and an lifting mechanism positioned within the product delivery conduit for mechanically lifting the product dispensing opening to the product delivery opening.

Vehicle vending system

A self-closing drawer slide system includes first and second slide members and a self-closing mechanism which, in turn, includes a housing coupled to the first slide member, a carriage slidably coupled to the housing, and a spring coupled between the housing and the carriage. The carriage has an engagement area that selectively receives a cam/tab extending from the second slide member. As the drawer is pulled open, the carriage disengages from the cam/tab as it rotates and is locked in place. As the drawer returns, the carriage again engages the cam/tab, unlocks, and is pulled toward a drawer-closed position by the spring. The system may also include an intermediate member, with respective sets of three balls disposed between the intermediate and first and second slide members such that respective centers of the balls define corners of an obtuse triangle. The self-closing mechanism may also include a damper.

Drawer system slide assemblies and closure mechanisms

A drawer slide for coupling a drawer to a cabinet includes an intermediate rail partially housed within the drawer rail and web and first and second legs which are connected to the web. A flange extends from the first leg toward the second leg. Bearings housed in bearing cages placed between the rails allow sliding movement therebetween. A cabinet rail partially housed within the intermediate rail includes an upright wall and a flange extending away from the upright wall and toward the first leg. Ball and roller bearings housed in bearing cages couple the flanges. Grooves in the flanges are engaged by the ball bearings. Roller bearings housed in bearing cages couple the web of the intermediate rail and the flange of the cabinet rail, and the second leg of the intermediate rail and the upright wall of the cabinet rail.

Undermount drawer slide

An oven rack assembly including full extension slides. Full extension slides are mounted to an oven rack and oven rack frames or wire racks providing full extension of an oven rack from an oven enclosure. The rack frame is mounted to oven walls or the slides are coupled to wire racks along oven slide walls.

A bearing spacer for use in a drawer slide assembly, having a first end portion, a second end portion opposite the first end portion, one or more bearing retaining portions, located between the first and second end portions, and one or more compressible portions, located between the first and second end portions.

Flexible bearing spacer

A mechanism is provided that couples to a slide member of at least a two member slide forming a self-moving slide as well as to a self-moving slide incorporating such a mechanism. The mechanism has a housing having a first slot guiding an actuator and a second slot spaced apart from the first slot. The actuator is spring coupled to the housing. The actuator engages a second slide member of the slide. The spring generates a force for moving the actuator and the engaged second slide member along the first slot. The second slot allows for a portion of the housing between the two slots to flex.
