Valve for the periodic and cyclic or otherwise intermittent release of a fluid is described along with an irrigation sprinkler incorporating the valve. The valve opens when a critical pressure level is reached in a reservoir attached to the valve, thereby permitting a portion of the fluid contained within the reservoir to be released through the valve. As the fluid is released, the pressure in the reservoir decreases. The valve does not close until the pressure level in the reservoir reaches a second pressure level that is below the critical pressure level. When the reservoir is refilled from a pressurized source at a controlled rate that is less the rate at which the fluid is expelled through the valve when open, the valve will cycle repetitively.

Apparatus for intermittent liquid dispersal

A wind propelled watercraft having a substantially tetrahedral frame and having three buoyant support members together forming an equilateral triangle connected thereto. Tethering assemblies are is provided for flexibly connecting the buoyant support members to the tetrahedral frame. Steering reins connected to the steering buoyant support member are received through nylon rings connected to the watercraft to provide a durable steering system. Nose ropes connected to the bow portion of the support members are provided for supporting upwardly the bow portions of the support members so as to prevent submersion of the support members in the water. Zippered storage pockets are provided on the trampoline.

Self-steering wind propelled watercraft

A watercraft comprising a plurality of spaced-apart flotation members a corresponding plurality of elongate spar members, and a main mast. The spar members and the main mast each have opposite proximal and distal ends. A juncture means receives the proximal ends of each of the spar members and the main mast member. The watercraft further includes means for propelling itself. A plurality of spar attachment means connects each spar to its corresponding flotation member. The attachment means includes an elongate mounting bracket having an aperture attached to the distal end of its corresponding spar member, and a mounting assembly attached to its corresponding flotation member so as to retain the bracket by its aperture so that the spar member is connected to its corresponding flotation member so as to permit limited omni directional movement of the spar member relative to the corresponding flotation member.

Water sailing craft

A collapsible wind propelled watercraft adapted for movement over water having a substantially tetrahedral frame comprising three substantially equidistantly spaced support members adapted to engage and be supported on the surface of the water, four substantially rigid spars hingedly connected together at a juncture and extending radially outwardly therefrom such that three of the spars may articulate about the fourth spar to collapse the frame, the four spars further being separated from each other by equal angles. A plurality of stays are connected between each one of the spars and the other spars at points on the spars substantially equidistant from the juncture so as to form the substantially tetrahedral frame, and three of the spars extend laterally and downwardly from the juncture and have the support members connected near their distal ends. Suspended in the area defined by the three spars and the water surface is a trampoline connected to the distal ends of the three spars extending downwardly. A pair of sails are connected to the tetrahedral frame in such a manner that they are capable of being raised or lowered, and a line arrangement connected to one of the three support members enables the craft to be steered in a desired direction.
