Methods of assaying cells of a cellular sample for the presence of a target nucleic acid are provided. Aspects of the methods include evaluating a cellular sample that has been contacted with a nuclease inhibitor for the presence of a target nucleic acid. Also provided are devices and kits that find use in practicing the methods described herein.

Detection of target nucleic acids in a cellular sample

This invention provides compositions, methods, and systems for characterizing, resolving, and quantitating single stranded and double stranded DNA and RNA in-situ. Paired sense and anti-sense probes can signal the presence of double stranded nucleic acids. DNA and RNA can be distinguished in cell and tissue samples by hybridizing with probe sets adapted to highlight differences in these targets in-situ.

Detection of nucleic acids

A camera strap comprises one or more instantly attachable and detachable coupling mechanisms for host multiple cameras. In some embodiments, the camera strap comprises six rotating points allowing the camera strap to adjust its configuration to fit the body configuration of the wearer, which provides comfort and prevents injury to the wearer.

Multi-pivot camera harness

Methods of capturing two or more nucleic acids simultaneously from a single sample are provided. Different nucleic acids are captured through cooperative hybridization events on different subsets of particles or at different selected positions on a spatially addressable solid support. Methods of capturing one or more long nucleic acids and methods of capturing one or more nucleic acid for sequencing are also provided. Compositions, kits, and systems related to the methods are also described.

Multiplex capture of nucleic acids

Methods are provided for detecting and optionally quantitating multiple analytes, including nucleic acid and/or polypeptide analytes, in particle-based assays that can be highly multiplexed. Compositions, systems, and kits related to the methods are also featured.

Highly multiplexed particle-based assays

Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems and methods for adaptively boosting the supply voltage to an SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) in response to process-voltage-temperature variations when needed. Embodiments include a critical path that simulates a typical memory cell and read-out circuit in the SRAM. Applying a trigger signal to a word-line input port of the critical path, and comparing the output of the critical path to a reference-latch signal, provides an indication of when to boost the supply voltage to the read-out circuits of the SRAM.

Adaptive read wordline voltage boosting apparatus and method for multi-port SRAM

Uncaging devices that can be used to uncage photoactivatable caged components are provided. Consistent, uniform and/or high throughput processing of reactions and assays that include caged components is provided. Masked multiwell plates that can be used for uncaging photoactivatable caged components are provided. Methods and apparatus for initiating assays involving caged components are provided.

Uncaging devices

A number of caged (e.g., photoactivatable) compositions are provided, for example, caged enzyme sensors, caged binding sensors, caged nucleic acid probes, caged interfering RNAs, caged antisense nucleic acids, caged ribozymes, caged biomolecular analogs, caged transcription factors, caged antibodies, caged molecular decoys, and caged aptamers. Compositions comprising a plurality of caged components are also provided, as are labeled and optionally caged modulators. Also provided are kits for making the caged compositions and methods for making and for using the caged compositions. Related systems and devices are also provided (e.g., an uncaging device that can trigger photoactivatable assays and optionally detect signals from the assays).

Caged sensors, regulators and compounds and uses thereof

A dummy SRAM cell for use in a dummy bit line circuit uses the same transistors as used in a standard SRAM cell, which includes first and second subsets of transistors configured as first and second bit line output circuits. The dummy SRAM cell includes the same first and second subsets of transistors, with the first transistors configured as a dummy bit line output circuit having substantially the same electrical characteristics as the first bit line output circuit of the standard SRAM cell. Further, the second transistors, which are not otherwise needed for the dummy SRAM cell function, are reconfigured as a voltage tie circuit for the dummy bit line output. Using the second transistors for this purpose obviates the need to add additional transistors to form a voltage tie circuit for configuring the dummy bit line output circuit as a load or driver for the dummy bit line.
