Power take-off (PTO) systems and methods. A PTO assembly, in one example, includes a first one-way clutch configured to engage with a shaft of a prime mover or an output shaft when the prime mover rotates in a first direction and a second one-way clutch configured to engage with the shaft of the prime mover or the output shaft when the prime mover rotates in second direction which is opposite the first direction. The PTO assembly further includes a first mechanical branch rotationally coupling the first one-way clutch to the output shaft or the prime mover shaft and a second mechanical branch rotationally coupling the second one-way clutch to the output shaft or the prime mover shaft.

Power take-off (PTO) assembly in a transmission and PTO assembly operating method

Methods and systems are provided for an assembly comprising a first motor positioned on a first shaft, a second motor positioned on a second shaft, a first wet clutch selectively coupled to the first shaft, a second wet clutch selectively coupled to a drive axle, a third wet clutch selectively coupled to the first shaft, and a brake clutch fixed to a housing of the assembly. The assembly comprises a planetary gearset positioned on the second shaft having gears selectively coupled to the third wet clutch, the first wet clutch or to the brake clutch. The assembly comprises a first one-way clutch and a second one-way clutch opposing the first one-way clutch, the first one-way clutch and the second one-way clutch selectively coupled to the first shaft, where the first one-way clutch and the second one-way clutch are directly connected to two gear trains to drive a PTO shaft.

Methods and systems are provided for an assembly comprising a first motor positioned on a first shaft, a second motor positioned on a second shaft, a first wet clutch selectively coupled to the first shaft, a second wet clutch selectively coupled to an output shaft, a third wet clutch meshed with the output shaft, a brake clutch fixed to a housing of the assembly, a planetary gearset comprising a sun gear positioned on the second shaft, a planet carrier meshed with the second wet clutch and selectively coupled to the third wet clutch, and a ring gear selectively coupled with the brake clutch and meshed with the first wet clutch, and a first one-way clutch and a second one-way clutch opposing the first one-way clutch, the first one-way clutch and the second one-way clutch selectively coupled to the first shaft and mesh with a geartrain to drive an auxiliary shaft.
