A data storage device mounting apparatus includes a base, a securing member, and a cover engaged with the base. The base includes a receiving portion and a recess, the recess defines a through hole. The securing member is secured to a first data storage device and includes a securing piece. The securing piece defines a stopping hole. The cover is configured to cover a second data storage device. A stopping portion located on the cover. The receiving portion is adaptor to receive the first data storage device, the securing piece is received in the recess, and the stopping portion extends through the through hole to engage in the stopping hole, for preventing the first data storage device from disengaging from the receiving portion.

Data storage device mounting apparatus

An illuminating assembly includes a bracket, an engaging member, a light module, and a biasing member. The bracket includes a frame and a pressing panel rotatably located on the frame. The engaging member is attached to the bracket. The engaging member includes a first engaging portion which can be disengaged to release the light module. The light module is pivotally coupled to the bracket and is biased inwards when unreleased, and biased outwards and illuminated when released. The light module includes a base, a light source located on the base, and second engaging portion. The light module is movable from a closed position to an open position, to illuminate a keyboard.

The side plate has a second side edge substantially perpendicular to the top plate. The body is received in the enclosure and includes a sidewall. The sidewall abuts the side plate and is substantially parallel to the side plate. The sidewall includes a first part and a second part, and the second part defines a first mounting hole. The top plate abuts the body. A mounting piece extends from the top plate; the first part of the sidewall is in a first side of the side edge and covered by the side plate. The second part of the sidewall is in a second side opposite to the first side and exposed out of the side plate. The mounting piece is engaged in the first mounting hole.

A mounting apparatus is provided for a data storage device defining a mounting hole. The mounting apparatus includes a bracket for accommodating the data storage device and a locking latch. The bracket includes a side plate forming a cantilever thereon. A receiving portion is formed at a free end of the cantilever. The locking latch is pivotally attached to the side plate. The locking latch has an initial position parallel to the side plate. A projecting portion extends from the locking member, and is received by the receiving portion of the cantilever. A securing member is formed on the locking latch. When the locking latch is pivoted away from the side plate, the cantilever is distorted to store a potential elastic energy for urging the locking latch to move back to the initial position, thereby the securing member engaging into the mounting hole of the data storage device.

A computer enclosure includes a chassis () and a hood (). A fastener () is movably attached to the chassis. The fastener defines an opening () and a slot () which are defined in different planes. The hood includes a tab () corresponding to the opening, and a hook () corresponding to the slot. The tab is inserted into the opening for aligning the hook with the slot, whereupon the hook is inserted into the slot for securing the hood to the chassis.

A mounting apparatus for retaining a data storage device () in a computer includes a bracket () and a driving member (). The data storage device defines a locking hole () therein. The bracket includes a first side panel () and a second side panel () for mounting the data storage device therebetween. A resilient retaining member () is formed at the first side panel (). A retaining tab () is formed on a free end of the retaining member corresponding to the locking hole of the data storage device. The driving member is pivotably attached on the first side panel. An actuating portion () is formed on the driving member for urging movement of the retaining member.

A mounting assembly includes a chassis having a rear wall, a cover slidably mounted to the chassis in a first direction, and a clamping member mounted on the cover. The rear wall has a positioning portion thereon. The clamping member has a cantilever thereon. The cantilever has a locking portion at a free end thereof for engaging with the positioning portion, and a pressing portion at an opposite end thereof for urging the locking portion to disengage from the positioning portion. When the pressing portion of the clamping member is pressed downward in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, the locking portion is raised, thereby disengaging the locking portion from the positioning portion of the chassis.

A computer enclosure includes a chassis (), a cover () attached to the chassis () and a lock system () for securing the cover () on the chassis (). A button device for an electronic device, includes a panel defining an opening, a button module, and a switch. The button module has two opposite ends attached to the panel. A button is suspended at a middle of the button module and aligned with the opening of the panel. A triggering member is movable together with the button. The switch is remained a pre-determined distance from the panel, and out of alignment with the opening of the panel. The triggering member is laterally inserted between the switch and the panel for triggering the switch when the button is pressed.

Button device for computer bezel

A computer enclosure includes a base (), a first retaining member () and a bracket (). The base has a side panel () and a top panel () extending from one edge of the side panel. The first retaining member and a second retaining member are separately fixed on the side panel for securing a circuit board. The bracket is attached to the first retaining member. The top panel of the base and the first retaining member are shared with the bracket to form a cage for receiving a storage device.
