A support base includes a connector hub having a top end, a bottom end spaced apart from the top end, and a chamber wall extending between the top and bottom ends. The chamber wall defines a chamber within the connector hub. An interface may be positioned in the chamber. The interface is dimensioned such that a support gap is formed between the interface and the chamber wall. The support gap may be dimensioned for receiving a wall of a support structure having a hollow interior into which the interface is received.

A reading lamp includes a lamp top set having a tubular housing and a support column having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The support column may include a column wall defining a hollow interior of the support column. A swiveling joint assembly may be positioned between and join the tubular housing and the first end of the support column, such that the swiveling joint assembly enables one or more of polyaxial and rotational movement of the tubular housing relative to the support column or the swiveling joint assembly.

The control circuit comprises a main control unit, a voice recognition module, an operation panel, a control output interface and a power module. The voice recognition module is connected to the main control unit; a microphone and a loudspeaker are connected to the voice recognition module; the operation panel is connected to the main control unit, and the control output interface is connected to the main control unit. The disclosed embodiments integrate a voice recognition module in the controller. Voice commands can be recognized through the voice recognition module, allowing to control the smart furniture via voice, and making the operation simpler and more convenient.
