An electrical connector () includes a dielectric housing, a contact terminal (), a compression spring () and a retaining terminal (). The contact terminal has a body portion () and a contact portion () extending from an upper end of the body portion. A first wing () and a second wing () perpendicularly bend from opposite edges of the body portion. The retaining terminal includes a solder portion () projecting beyond the housing for electrically connecting a printed circuit board and a pair of arms () extending from the solder portion for directly and electrically connecting with the first wing and the second wing of the contact terminal. The spring is compressed between the retaining contact and the contact terminal. An upper end of the spring engages with the contact terminal and a lower end of the spring engages with the retaining terminal.

Electrical connector

An electrical card connector () for electrically connecting an electrical card with a printed circuit board includes an insulative housing () with a plurality of passageways () and a plurality of terminals () received in the passageways. Each terminal includes a main body (), a contacting portion () for electrically contacting with the card, a soldering portion () for soldering the electrical card connector to the printed circuit board. The main body includes a pair of parallel girders () and a pair of fixing portions () perpendicularly and downwardly extend from opposite ends of the pair of girders. The insulative housing defines a plurality of recesses () for receiving corresponding fixing portions of the terminals.

An electrical connector assembly () is mounted on a motherboard and includes an insulative housing () having at least two receiving cavities () and an insert module () secured to the housing. The anti-mismating member () is formed by one metal sheet and includes a pair of cantilevered branch portions () extending forwardly into the plug-receiving cavity. Each branch portion includes a stopping tab () projecting upright from an inner side thereof and a guiding portion () extending upwardly from an outer side thereof. This movement produces a corresponding movement in the anti-mismating member () and the stop surface () thereon such that the stop surface is located out of engagement with the leading edge of the mating plug, permitting full insertion of the mating plug into the cavity.

A method for assembling a PIFA antenna () onto a plastic base of a handle electronic device includes forming the plastic base () with a number of posts () by a single-shot-molding process and punching a number of pinholes () on the PIFA antenna body corresponding to the posts protruding thereon. The plastic base and the antenna body are conjoined together with the posts aligned with the pinholes. Then the posts are heated and then transfigured to flat-shape for engaging the edges of the pinholes. Thus the PIFA antenna is firmly retained on the plastic base.
