A positive current collector, a positive electrode plate, a battery, and an apparatus, the positive current collector comprising a support layer, provided with two opposite surfaces in a thickness direction of the support layer, and a conductive layer arranged on at least one of the two surfaces of the support layer, wherein the conductive layer has a thickness Dsatisfying 300 nm≤D≤2 μm; and when the positive current collector has a the tensile strain of 3.0% or more, the conductive layer has a sheet resistance growth rate of T≥50%. The positive current collector has higher safety performance and meanwhile higher electrical performance, and thus a positive electrode plate and a battery adopting the positive current collector could have higher safety performance and meanwhile higher electro-chemical performance.

The silicon-oxygen compound provided by the present application has a formula of SiO, in which x satisfies 0<x<2. The silicon-oxygen compound contains both sulfur and aluminum element, and the sulfur element is present in an amount of 20 ppm˜300 ppm. The mass ratio of sulfur element to aluminum element is from 1.5 to 13.0. A secondary battery uses the silicon-oxygen compound provided in the present application, so that the secondary battery can have both long-cycle performance and high initial coulombic efficiency.

The battery includes: a positive electrode plate including a positive current collector and a positive active material layer; a negative electrode plate including a positive current collector and a negative active material layer; and an electrolyte.
