The cable includes a transverse portion fixed to the conductive unit and a longitudinal portion bent from the transverse portion. The second insulating body includes a rear wall. The electrical connector includes a filling cavity between the first insulating body and the rear wall. A connection position of the cable and the conductive unit is located in the filling cavity. The rear wall includes an opening communicating with the filling cavity. The longitudinal portion of the cable at least partially corresponds to the opening, so as to reduce the compression of the cable by the rear wall and improve reliability. The electrical connector includes a filling block filled in the filling cavity. A method for manufacturing the electrical connector is also disclosed.

A pull strap connector includes an insulating body, a tongue plate, a cable, a pull strap unlocking device and a pull strap. The insulating body includes a mating space and a rear wall. The tongue plate includes a tongue portion extending into the mating space. The pull strap unlocking device includes a locking piece, and the locking piece includes a locking protrusion. The pull strap connector further includes a pull strap pressing member provided separately from the insulating body and fixed to the rear wall. The pull strap passes through the pull strap pressing member. The pull strap is configured to unlock in a downward direction to move the locking protrusion downwardly. A method of making the pull strap connector is also disclosed.

A plug connector includes a housing, a built-in circuit board partially located in the housing, and a cable electrically connected to the built-in circuit board. The housing includes a mating surface. The built-in circuit board includes a tongue plate and a number of conductive pads provided on the tongue plate. The housing includes an extension plate extending along a mating direction of the plug connector. The tongue plate and the extension plate protrude beyond the mating surface along the mating direction. The extension plate further protrudes beyond the tongue plate along the mating direction. Two lateral sides of the plug connector also respectively include slots extending through the mating surface. As a result, the insertion reliability of the plug connector of the present disclosure is improved.

A plug connector includes a housing, a built-in circuit board, a cable, two locking arms, a driving member, and a pull strap connected to the driving member. Each locking arm includes a locking protrusion, an abutting portion and a pivot portion. The driving member includes two driving arms. Each driving arm includes a protruding portion to pull the abutting portion. The locking arm is rotatable around the pivot part when the pull strap is pulled by an external force. At the same time, the locking protrusions can move along a thickness direction from a locked position to an unlocked position. The plug connector also includes two return springs for returning the locking arms after the external force is removed. As a result, the reliability of the plug connector of the present disclosure is improved.

An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a metal casing. The electrical connector includes an insulating body and a number of conductive terminals. The insulating body includes a slot. Each conductive terminal includes an abutting portion. The metal casing includes a receiving cavity. When a mating connector is inserted into the receiving cavity and has not yet made contact with the conductive terminals of the electrical connector, a better shielding effect can be achieved. Some of the abutting portions are adapted for electrically connecting with a circuit board, and some of the abutting portions of the conductive terminals are connected with a cable. The metal casing includes a hook portion locking with a lock surface of the circuit board. Therefore, the metal casing can be prevented from detaching from the circuit board in case an external force is applied to pull the cable.

The present disclosure provides an electrical connector connected with a chip connector. The electrical connector comprises a first terminal component, an adapting board, and a cable. The first terminal component comprises a plurality of terminals. The adapting board is disposed at one side of the first terminal component. A strap connector includes an insulating body, a conductive element, a locking member, a pressing block, and a strap connected with the pressing block. The locking member includes a main body portion and a locking elastic arm. The main body portion includes a top plate. The locking elastic arm extends from the top plate and is used for locking with a mating connector. The pressing block is slidable backwardly under the pulling of the strap, so that the pressing block presses the top plate downwardly, and then the locking elastic arm moves downwardly to realize unlocking. When the unlocking method disclosed in the present disclosure is performed, it is only necessary to ensure that the pressing block slides over the top plate, which improves the reliability of unlocking.

The strap connector further includes a guide rail piece arranged separately from the locking piece and installed on the insulating body. A part of the pull strap is located between the guide rail piece and the insulating body.
