An antenna and its fabrication method, and a display device are provided. The antenna includes a substrate, a radiation electrode, a first dummy electrode, and a feed line. The radiation electrode, the first dummy electrode, and the feed line are disposed on the substrate. The feed line is coupled and connected to the radiation electrode. The first dummy electrode and the radiation electrode are adjacent but not connected to each other. Along a first direction, an orthographic projection of the radiation electrode to a plane where the substrate is located is a first projection, and an orthographic projection of the first dummy electrode to the plane where the substrate is located is a second projection. There is a first interval between the first projection and the second projection; and the first direction is perpendicular to the plane where the substrate is located.

Antenna and its fabrication method, and display device

An antenna and a fabrication method of the antenna are provided. The antenna includes a plurality of sub-antennas arranged in an array. A sub-antenna of the plurality of sub-antennas includes a first substrate and a second substrate that are disposed opposite to each other, a dielectric function layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, a ground metal layer disposed on a side of the first substrate facing towards the dielectric function layer, and a metal connector. The first substrate of each sub-antenna is coplanar with each other, and the second substrate of each sub-antenna is coplanar with each other. A spliced region is formed between adjacent two sub-antennas of the plurality of sub-antennas, and in the spliced region, two first substrates of the adjacent two sub-antennas are connected by the metal connector.

Antenna and fabrication method

Provided is an antenna. The antenna includes a first metal electrode, a second metal electrode, and a dielectric functional layer. The first metal electrode and the second metal electrode are located on two opposite sides of the dielectric functional layer, respectively; and the first metal electrode includes a plurality of transmission electrodes. The antenna further includes a flexible coplanar waveguide and a feed network. The flexible coplanar waveguide is electrically connected to the feed network and configured to feed an electrical signal to the feed network.

The fourth substrate extends beyond edges of the second substrate on at least two sides. A connection structure is disposed between the third substrate and the fourth substrate, and the connection structure is disposed on an outer side of the frame glue. The liquid crystal antenna and the preparation method of the liquid crystal antenna are provided to reduce preparation difficulty and improve reliability.

Liquid crystal antenna and preparation method thereof

A phase shifter, a fabrication method thereof, and an antenna are provided. The phase shifter includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a ground electrode disposed on a side of the first substrate facing towards the second substrate, a transmission electrode disposed on a side of the second substrate facing towards the first substrate, and liquid crystals filled between the first substrate and the second substrate. In a direction perpendicular to a plane of the second substrate, the transmission electrode overlaps with the ground electrode. The ground electrode is provided with a detection hollow part, and in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the second substrate, at least a part of the detection hollow part does not overlap with the transmission electrode.

Phase shifter, fabrication method thereof, and antenna

A liquid crystal antenna is provided. The liquid crystal antenna includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, a plurality of transmission electrodes including a first transmission electrode and a second transmission electrode, a plurality of signal lines including a first signal line and a second signal line, a plurality of signal terminals including a first signal terminal and a second signal terminal, and a ground electrode. A transmission electrode is electrically connected to a signal terminal through at least one signal line. The first transmission electrode is connected to the first signal terminal through the first signal line, and the second transmission electrode is connected to the second signal terminal through the second signal line. A resistance of the first signal line is A, and a resistance of the second signal line is B, where A/B is less than 10.

Liquid crystal antenna

Provided are a liquid crystal antenna, a manufacturing method thereof and a communication device having the liquid crystal antenna. The liquid crystal antenna includes a first metal electrode, a second metal electrode, a third metal electrode, at least two oppositely arranged substrates, and a liquid crystal layer located between the two oppositely arranged substrates. The two oppositely arranged substrates each include a light transmission area. The first metal electrode, the second metal electrode and the third metal electrode within the light transmission area each are a hollowed-out structure, and the light transmission area can be used to test a cell thickness of the liquid crystal cell. Since the cell thickness can be measured, other process parameters can be matched and adjusted, so that a mass production yield of the liquid crystal antennas is improved.

Liquid crystal antenna, manufacturing method thereof and communication device

Provided are a liquid crystal phase shifter, a manufacturing method thereof, and a liquid crystal antenna. The liquid crystal phase shifter includes a first substrate, a second substrate, microstrips, a ground electrode, and liquid crystals located between the at least one microstrip and the ground electrode. The microstrip line is disposed on a side of the second substrate facing towards the first substrate and includes a first transmission line and a second transmission line that are each a coil and are nested with each other in a direction perpendicular to a plane of the second substrate. The coiling transmission directions of radio frequency signals transmitted on the first and second transmission lines are opposite. The ground electrode overlaps both the first transmission line and the second transmission line in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the second substrate.

Liquid crystal phase shifter, manufacturing method of the same, and liquid crystal antenna

The present disclosure provides a phased-array antenna and a control method thereof. The phased-array antenna includes two parallel substrates attached by sealant into a cavity filled with liquid crystals, a plurality of phase-shifting units is provided in the cavity defined. Each unit comprises: a power feeder electrically connected to a radio frequency signal terminal, a radiator electrically connected to the power feeder, a ground electrode electrically connected to a ground signal terminal but electrically insulated from the power feeder and the radiator respectively, and a driving electrode electrically connected to a control signal wire. The orthographic projections of the driving electrode, the power feeder, and the ground electrode overlap on one substrate.
