A sensor data system, method and computer program configured to handle sensor data are disclosed. The system includes a reception unit adapted to receive sensor data, a storing unit adapted to store at least some of the received sensor data in an observations database, a recording unit adapted to record usage of the sensor data, and a relevance determination unit adapted to determine the relevance of the sensor data based on the recorded usage. A decision unit is adapted to remove excess sensor data with determined relevance below a limit from the observations database, and to retain relevant sensor data with determined relevance above the limit in the sensor database. Sensor data in an observations database may thereby be limited to a desired size, by removal of excess sensor data from the database.

Method, computer program, computer program product and system for handling sensor data

The disclosure provides a method () and apparatus for anomaly detection in a network. The method () comprises: obtaining (S) a stream of time-series data related to the network; and dividing (S) the stream into a number of sub-streams each corresponding to a category of data. The method further comprises, for each of the sub-streams: reconstructing (S) a plurality of phase spaces; predicting (S), in each of the plurality of phase spaces, whether a data item in the sub-stream is an anomaly candidate based on a prediction model associated with the phase space; and detecting (S) the data item as an anomaly when it is predicted as an anomaly candidate in all of the plurality of phase spaces.

Method and apparatus for anomaly detection in a network

A method and apparatus for handling location data in a mobile communications network. A network node obtains an average geographical location of a mobile device over a predetermined time period and uses the average geographical location in an area of interest in an Origin Destination matrix. The advantage of using an average geographical location over a period of time is that much less data needs to be stored compared to storing all geographical data, but the data can be reused to define new Origin Destination matrices.

Handling location data in a mobile communications network

Method and sensor observation system (), for reporting observations to data users () based on sensor data collected () from a network of sensors (). A first observation report that originates from a sensor in the network, is provided () to a first data user and a rating with respect to quality of the first observation report is received () from the first data user. Rating information is then created () based on the received rating, and a second observation report originating from the same sensor and comprising said rating information is provided () to a second data user. The comprised rating information thus indicates reliability of the second observation report. Method and system for evaluation of sensor observations

A CAPTCHA method executed by a CAPTCHA system is provided, comprising: receiving a CAPTCHA request comprising category information of an application service from an application server; responding to the application server with a token identifying the CAPTCHA request and a CAPTCHA image comprising a distorted advertisement word associated to the category information and a series of randomly generated and distorted characters, both the advertisement word and the characters being a CAPTCHA text intended to be typed by a user via a user equipment connected to the application server; receiving from the application server the token and a CAPTCHA answer submitted from the user equipment by the user; and verifying the token and the answer and returning to the application server a result of the verification. This provides an improved CAPTCHA system and method with better advertising effects and security.
