An echogenicity quantitative test system for a sample echogenic medical device includes a fixture into which the echogenic medical device is positioned in relation to an ultrasonic probe connected with an ultrasound diagnostic device. The fixture includes a frame; a probe holder having a first guide rod and a probe clamp configured to hold the ultrasonic probe and movably held on the first guide rod, and a sample holder having a second guide rod and a sample clamp configured to hold the medical device sample. The sample clamp is movably held on the second guide rod. The frame may include guide rails, and the first guide rod and the second guide rod are movably disposed in the guide rails so as to allow for adjustments to the relative positions of the ultrasonic probe and the sample echogenic medical device.

Echogenicity quantitative test system for an echogenic medical device

An ultrasonic echogenic device () includes a base layer (), an echogenic layer () covering the base layer () and adhered to the base layer () at least by a separate lower adhesive (), an outer layer () covering the echogenic layer () and adhered to the echogenic layer () at least by a separate upper adhesive (), wherein the ultrasonic echogenic device () is configured such that a rough interface is provided at a position where the echogenic material of the echogenic layer () contacts at least the upper surface of the upper adhesive () and the lower adhesive (), and the outer surface of the outer layer () at least partially follows an undulation of the rough interface. An ultrasonic echogenic device () with a simple structure and easily formed is obtained.

Ultrasonic echogenic device

An echogenic balloon dilation catheter and a balloon thereof. The balloon includes a balloon body, a balloon cone at each side of the balloon body, and a balloon tip extending from the balloon cone and fixed to the catheter, the balloon body and the balloon cone being formed of a plurality of polymer layers in a radial direction of the balloon. The balloon may be of enhanced echogenicity using a variety of disclosed techniques.
