A process for preparing a fused-ring alkane fuel, wherein the fused-ring alkane fuel has the following structure: wherein n is 1 or 2; R, R, R, Rand Rare H or &#x2014;CHor &#x2014;CHCH;the fused-ring alkane fuel has a density of greater than 0.870 g/cm, a freezing point of not higher than &#x2212;50&#xb0; C., and a net mass heat value of not less than 42.0 MJ/kg; the process for preparing a fused-ring alkane fuel, wherein the process includes steps of: (1) in a presence of ultraviolet light and a photocatalyst, a Diels-Alder cycloaddition reaction between a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic enone and a substituted or unsubstituted furan molecule occurs to produce a fuel precursor molecule: (2) the fuel precursor molecule obtained in the step (1) is subjected to hydrodeoxygenation to produce the fused-ring alkane fuel. 

Fused-ring alkane fuel and photocatalytic preparation process thereof

The present invention discloses a process for preparing perhydrofluorene or alkyl-substituted perhydrofluorene, comprising the steps of: (1) reacting a phenolic compound or an aromatic hydrocarbon compound or an aromatic ketone compound or an aromatic ether compound with a benzyl compound to carry out an alkylation reaction in the presence of a first catalyst, thereby to produce substituted or unsubstituted diphenyl methane, wherein the first catalyst is an acidic catalyst; and (2) reacting the substituted or unsubstituted diphenyl methane with hydrogen gas to carry out an hydrogenation reaction or a hydrodeoxygenation reaction, thereby to produce perhydrofluorene or alkyl-substituted perhydrofluorene, wherein the second catalyst is a physical mixture of a metal catalyst and an acidic catalyst or a metal catalyst loaded on an acidic catalyst.

Process for preparing perhydrofluorene or alkyl-substituted perhydrofluorene

The present invention discloses a composite catalyst for the photocatalytic isomerization of norbornadiene to prepare quadricyclane, comprising: a solid photocatalyst, selected from the group consisting of TiO, Ti-MCM-41, Ti-SBA-15, ZnO, WO, TaOor SrTiO; and an organic photo-sensitizer loaded on the surface or in the channel of said solid photocatalyst, selected from benzophenone, acetophenone, Michler's Ketone, tetraethyl Michler's Ketone, and diethyl Michler's Ketone, where the organic photo-sensitizer is present in the solid photocatalyst in an amount of 0.5% to 20% by weight. The catalyst of the invention can catalyze a target reaction under the condition that no solvent is used, and the yield of the target product quadricyclane is higher. Furthermore, the catalyst of the invention has a stable activity, and it can be recycled. The invention further discloses a process for preparing the composite catalyst.

Composite catalyst for the photocatalytic isomerisation of norbornadiene to prepare quadricyclane and process for making the catalyst

The invention discloses a continuous process for producing high-pure quadricyclane, in which 'a reaction-rectification integral process' or 'a reaction followed by rectification process' may be employed. The two processes both use a novel composite catalyst which is obtained by loading an organic photo-sensitizer on a solid photocatalyst, and the composite catalyst has a high activity and a good stability. In the reaction-rectification integral process, the composite catalyst is used by being blended with rectification fillers or covering the rectification fillers, so as to achieve the integration of the reaction and the rectification. In the reaction followed by rectification process, the composite catalyst and the rectification fillers are placed separately from each other. The two processes achieve a relatively short residence time of reactants, produce highly-pure quadricyclane, and reduce the formation of cokes.
