Interchangeable connector panel systems for fixed mount industrial scanners are disclosed herein. An example interchangeable connector panel system for fixed mount industrial scanners includes a housing including a mounting mechanism and a coupling mechanism, an image capture assembly at least partially disposed within the housing, and a first field-interchangeable removable connector module. The image capture assembly includes an optical assembly, a decoder engine, at least one image capture assembly interface, and at least one of a central processing unit or a graphics processing unit. The first field-interchangeable removable connector module couples with the coupling mechanism of the housing and is removable by a user in-field. The first removable connector module includes at least one connector module interface and an input/output (I/O) interface having a first configuration. The at least one image capture assembly interface communicatively couples with the at least one connector module interface to allow transmission between the I/O interface and the image capture assembly.

Interchangeable connector panel system for fixed mount industrial scanners

Handheld scanning devices are disclosed herein. An example handheld scanning device includes a main housing, an antenna housing, an antenna mounting bracket, and a first radio frequency identification (RFID) antenna. The main housing includes a main body portion and a grip portion operably coupled with the main body. The main housing defines a main housing cavity. The antenna housing is operably coupled with the main housing and defines an antenna housing cavity. The antenna mounting bracket is at least partially disposed within the antenna housing cavity and is operably coupled with the antenna housing and the main body portion of the main housing. The first RFID antenna is at least partially disposed within the antenna housing cavity and is operably coupled with the antenna mounting bracket.

An optical assembly for illuminating at least one object appearing in a field of view (FOV). The optical assembly includes first and second illumination sources configured to provide first and second illumination to illuminate a target of the object. An aperture configured to collimate the first and second illumination and to provide the illumination to a dual collimator. The dual collimator is disposed to collimate the first and second illumination and to provide the first and second illumination to a dual microlens lens array (MLA). The dual MLA has microlens arrays configured to receive the collimated first and second radiation, to provide two illumination output fields, each output field having a different output illumination field angle.

An apparatus for capturing an image of at least one object appearing in an imaging field of view (FOV). A housing has an imaging sensor operably coupled with the circuit board, the imaging sensor configured to capture an image frame appearing in the imaging FOV and defining an imaging axis. An illumination assembly has a plurality of light sources operably coupled with the circuit board, a diffuser positioned adjacent to the plurality of light sources, the diffuser configured to generate a diffused light pattern, and a light pipe positioned adjacent to the plurality of light sources to generate a direct illumination pattern and an off-axis illumination pattern, wherein the direct illumination pattern is oriented generally parallel to the imaging axis and the off-axis illumination pattern is configured to intersect the imaging axis.

A method for rotating a toggle link upon an acceleration event greater than a predetermined threshold. The method including: biasing a toggle link against a stop when the acceleration event is less than the predetermined threshold, a position of the toggle link against the stop being on a first side of a singular position of the toggle link; biasing the toggle link towards an opposite direction from the stop when the toggle link is positioned on a second side of the singular position; and moving the toggle link from the first side of the singular position to the second side of the singular position when the base structure undergoes an acceleration event greater than a predetermined threshold.

Rotary-type mechanisms for inertial igniters for thermal batteries and G-switches for munitions and the like

A mechanism including: a toggle link rotatably connected to a base structure; a stop connected to the base structure for limiting a rotational travel of the toggle link; a biasing element having a first end attached to the base structure and a second end attached to the toggle link such that the toggle link is biased towards the stop when the toggle link is positioned on a first side of a singular position and the toggle link is biased towards an opposite direction from the stop when the toggle link is positioned on a second side of the singular position; and an inertial element movably disposed between the base structure and the toggle link such that that inertial element moves the toggle link from the first side of the singular position to the second side of the singular position when the base structure undergoes an acceleration event greater than a predetermined threshold.

The handle has a blade mounting portion with a raised boss forming a slot. The blade has a boss receiving recess with a portion defined by an edge. The cartridge has a transparent top so that the presence of a blade within the cartridge can be observed and an opening at one end into which the blade mounting portion of the handle can be inserted. The bottom of the cartridge includes a spring platform with a recess into which the blade is received. The platform is integral with the cartridge bottom and is mounted in cantilever-like fashion, by a living hinge, to permit it to flex. When the top and bottom of the cartridge are assembled, ribs on the top cause the platform to move to a spring loaded position, where the forward end of the handle boss can enter the blade recess. As the blade mounting portion of the handle is inserted further into the cartridge, the flexibility of the platform permits the boss to be fully seated within the recess, mounting the blade on the handle. The blade is then removed from the cartridge by withdrawing the handle. After use, the blade is reinserted into the cartridge. Depression of a pushbutton, accessible from the exterior of the cartridge, permits the boss to be withdrawn from the recess, as the platform flexes, to dismount the blade from the handle. A lid, pivotally attached adjacent the cartridge opening, is adapted to cover the opening to prevent reuse of the used blade.
