A light tube holder includes a base and two connectors for receiving either a light-emitting diode (LED) tube or a fluorescent tube. The connector includes a rotary member rotatably received in a through hole defined in a retainer, and three conductive elastic pieces positioned in the retainer around the through hole. One elastic piece is electrically connected to an LED tube drive circuit board, and the other two elastic piece are electrically connected to a fluorescent tube drive circuit board. The rotary member can be rotated to first and second positions, wherein at the first position, the LED tube can be activated, and at the second position the fluorescent tube can be activated.

Light tube holder for receiving LED tube or fluorescent tube

A lamp tube switch circuit supplies power to a selected LED/fluorescent lamp tube connected between first and second connectors and comprises a ballast and a starter. A power supply has positive and negative terminals. A switch module comprises first, second and third switches each having a first end connecting with the positive terminal, fourth and fifth switches each having a first end connecting with the negative terminal and a sixth switch having a first end connecting with the first connector. A button module has six buttons one of which is correspondent to the selected lamp tube. A control unit is connected to the button module, and functions to turn on and turn off the switches with a predetermined mode according the selected lamp tube.

Lamp tube switch circuit

A lamp tube switch circuit includes a first connector and a second connector for connecting a lamp tube, a power supply, a switch module including at least six switches connected between the power port, the first connector and second connector, a detecting unit connected between the first connector and the second connector, a control unit, a ballast and a starter. The detecting unit detects impedances between the pins of the lamp tube to determine the type of the lamp tube. The control unit is connected to the detecting unit, and operated to have some of the switches to turn one and the others to turn off whereby a drive circuit is formed enabling power from the power supply to flow through the lamp tube to make the lamp tube to generate light.

Lamp tube switch circuit and method thereof

A lamp tube switching circuit includes a first connector and a second connector for connecting either an LED lamp tube or a fluorescent type lamp tube, a switch module being a mechanical switch including first, second and third switches, a starter and ballast. Each of the first and second switches has a static terminal for connecting with a power supply, and four dynamic terminals for selectively connecting with the static terminal thereof. Different circuits can be configured by adjusting the connection between the static and dynamic terminals, wherein each circuit can drive a selected type of lamp tube to generate light.

Illumination device

An LED illuminating device comprises a housing with a base plate, a prism sheet and a circuit board. The prism sheet is mounted in the housing and comprises a number of V-shaped micro-grooves formed thereon along three directions intersecting with each other. The circuit board is fixed on the base plate, wherein a plurality of LED units are arranged on the circuit board, each two adjacent LED units are spaced a preset distance apart from each other and emit light of different colors. Six virtual mixed light sources are formed by reflection of the prism sheet to the circuit board when the light emitted by an LED unit mixes with light emitted from adjacent LED units on the circuit board. Each of the virtual mixed light sources has a color different from the colors of the light emitted from the LED units.

Two-color mixing LED illuminating device

An illuminating system includes a universal lamp holder. The universal lamp holder includes a switch unit, a starter, a ballast, a first socket and a second socket. The ballast is connected to the voltage-input terminal and the first socket. The starter is connected to the first socket and the switch unit. The second socket is connected to the switch unit and the voltage-output terminal, and the switch unit is configured for selectively connecting the second socket to the voltage-input terminal or connecting the second socket to the starter. When the second socket is switched to connect to the voltage-input terminal, the illuminating system is switched to an LED lamp mode, and when the second socket is switched to be connected to the starter, the illuminating system is switched to a fluorescent lamp mode.

An LED illuminating device includes a hollow base including a first end and a second end, an LED substrate, a connector, and a driving circuit module accommodated in the base. A plurality of vents are defined in a circumferential wall of the hollow base; a space is formed between a circumferential wall of the driving circuit module and the inner surface of the circumferential wall of the hollow base. The space can communicate with the plurality of vents and serve as a hot air channel, to promote heat exchange between hot air in the base and cool air outside the base.

The second sidewall cooperates with the first sidewall to define a receiving space to receive an electrical terminal. The connecting member connects the first sidewall to the second wall. The restricting member includes a first hook and a second hook. The first hook extends from one end of the first sidewall. The second hook extends from one end of the second sidewall. An end of the first hook and an end of the second hook are spaced from each other. When the electrical terminal is received in the receiving space, the first hook engages with the second hook, to prevent the receiving space from being stretch beyond a predetermined size or size range.

A system for testing a reflective display device includes a testing apparatus and a computer. The testing apparatus includes one or more light emitters, one or more light detectors, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) module, and a microcontroller unit (MCU). The light emitters are for projecting light onto a reflective display device located on the testing apparatus. The light detectors are for sensing reflected light from the reflective display device, and generating electricity according to a luminance of the reflected light. The ADC module is for receiving the electrical signals from the light detectors, and producing a digital output according to voltages of the electrical signals. The MCU is configured for reading the digital output of the ADC module. The computer is for processing the digital output and displaying results after processing.
