Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a control signal that indicates one or more parameters for a beam failure reporting procedure. The beam failure reporting procedure may be associated with a multi-path wireless connection for the first UE, which may include a first link between the first UE and a network entity and a second link between the first UE and a second UE. The first UE may monitor, as part of a multi-path beam failure recovery procedure, the first link for one or more signals associated with beam failure detection based on receiving the control signal. The first UE may transmit, via the first link or the second link, one or more messages in accordance with the beam failure reporting procedure based on monitoring. The one or more messages may include information associated with the one or more parameters.

Utilization of secondary link for beam failure warning and recovery

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may establish, with a second UE, a first sidelink associated with a first layer 2 (L2) identifier of the second UE and a second sidelink associated with a second L2 identifier of the second UE, wherein the first L2 identifier is different than the second L2 identifier. A method of wireless communication performed by a first sidelink user equipment (UE) may include performing a first listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, transmitting, to a second sidelink UE based on the first LBT procedure being successful, at least one of a resource indicator indicating resources associated with a sidelink communication, wherein the resources are indicated relative to when the first LBT procedure is successful or a channel occupancy time (COT) indicator associated with COT sharing.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may partition one or more user equipments (UEs) within a target area into groups and assign one UE per set to be a lead UE to aggregate shared sensor data without large sidelink overhead from multicasting all sensor data or uplink signaling overhead from aggregating data at the network entity. For example, the network entity may transmit, and a UE may receive, a partition request message corresponding to a hierarchical partitioning scheme. The UE may transmit a partition request feedback message in response to the partition request message, which may include an indication of the availability of the UE to act as the lead UE. The UE may receive a partition assignment message from the network entity, which may include a partition between sets of UEs and an indication of the lead UE for the set of UEs.

Hierarchical partitioning and sensor data aggregation in perceptive wireless communications systems

An apparatus including a non-transitory memory including instructions stored thereon for monitoring synchronous signals and physical broadcast channels (SSBs) from a network node. The apparatus also includes a processor, operably coupled to the non-transitory memory, configured to execute a set of instructions. The instructions include configuring the apparatus for a STTC (SSB Transmission Timing Configuration). The STTC is a time interval with plural locations accommodating transmission of the SSBs. The instructions also include monitoring the STTC for the SSBs. The instructions further include determining a first one of the SSBs in a first slot of a subframe in a scheduled SSB transmission in the STTC has been transmitted at a first scheduled location, where the transmission of the first one of the SSBs is based upon confirmation of a successful Listen Before Talk (LBT) available channel prior to the scheduled SSB transmission in the STTC.

Mechanism for SSB transmission in NR-U

An effective approach for a user equipment (UE) to perform a sidelink communication with another UE in a discontinuous reception (DRX) mode is disclosed. For example, a UE may determine a direct frame number (DFN) timing, and configure a sidelink DRX mode using one or more sidelink DRX parameters based on the DFN timing. The UE may perform a sidelink communication with a second UE during an on-duration of a sidelink DRX cycle in the sidelink DRX mode according to the one or more sidelink DRX parameters.

Control and data channels may be Frequency Division Multiplexed (FDMed) or Time Division Multiplexed (TDMed) with an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) waveform. Example methods and systems for a Resource Configuration on Sidelink are disclosed. The resource configuration may be statically configured or may be locally configured. Resource management for 5G eV2X

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a network node, a first indication, associated with a sidelink communication, of at least one of whether sidelink carrier aggregation is supported or a first one or more component carriers associated with the sidelink communication. The UE may receive, from the network node based on transmitting the indication, a second indication that a transmission associated with the sidelink communication is to be duplicated for multiple component carriers. The UE may transmit, based on the second indication, the sidelink communication via each of a plurality of component carriers that include at least one component carrier from the first one or more component carriers. Sidelink carrier aggregation

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some cases, a first user equipment (UE) may perform a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure to identify a channel occupancy time (COT). The COT may include some slots for transmitting a sidelink message and some sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB) slots for transmitting S-SSBs. In some examples, to fill a gap created by the S-SSB slots within the COT and thus maintain the COT across the S-SSB slots, the first UE or the second UE may transmit some signaling to provide transmissions in the S-SSB slots. For example, the first UE may transmit a padding signal, the second UE may transmit S-SSBs, or the UEs may use a gap control procedure. Upon filling the gap, the first UE may transmit a sidelink message to the second UE in slots of the COT excluding the S-SSB slots.

Maintaining channel occupancy time across sidelink synchronization signal block slots in unlicensed sidelink

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may start a sidelink bandwidth part (BWP) timer with a duration that is based at least in part on a timing of a sidelink discontinuous reception active state of the first UE. In some aspects, an apparatus of a user equipment (UE) may transmit, over an unlicensed carrier, an initial transmission of a transport block (TB) satisfying a condition and an indication that a retransmission of the TB will be communicated over a licensed carrier. Mitigating the effects of rogue actors in vehicle-to-vehicle perceptive wireless communications

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may configure a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle of the first UE for a sidelink connection with a second UE. The UE may identify a mode that specifies whether the first UE is to receive a communication outside of an on duration of the DRX cycle if the on duration is extended due to receiving sidelink control information (SCI) reserving a resource outside of the on duration.
