An illumination device includes a light source, an AC power source and a balance sensing switch. The AC power source is adapted for supplying an alternating current to the light source. The balance sensing switch is connected between the light source and the AC power source for automatically cutting off an electrical connection between the light source and the AC power source when the illumination device topples down.

Illumination device with a safety feature

An LED includes a substrate, two LED dies mounted on the substrate, an encapsulant molded on the substrate and sealing the two LED dies, and two phosphors contained within the encapsulant and surrounding the two LED dies, respectively. The two phosphors are distributed on the two LED dies in same density and different thicknesses, whereby the mixed light from one LED die and one phosphor has a color temperature different from that mixed from another LED die and another phosphor.

Light emitting diode

An illumination system includes an LED lamp, a timer, a controlling circuit, a driving circuit and a power source electrically connected together. The timer produces different signals to the controlling circuit at different periods, thereby driving the LED lamp to lighten with different brightness. A light or movement sensor is further electrically connected to the LED lamp to work together with the timer. The sensor cooperating with the timer, detects light or movement of an object to drive the LED lamp to lighten for a while with a corresponding brightness.

Illumination system

A lamp includes a lamp head, a lamp rod and a fastening device fixing the lamp head onto the lamp rod. The fastening device includes a tube-shaped lamp seat extending from the lamp head, a tightening device disposed in the lamp seat, a connecting device connecting the tightening device to the lamp seat, and a locking device mounted to the lamp seat. The tightening device includes an inner face and an outer face opposite to the inner face. The inner face of the tightening device and an inner face of the lamp seat sandwiching an end of the lamp rod therebetween. The tightening device can move along a radial direction of the lamp seat. The locking device presses the tightening device toward the end of the lamp post to urge the tightening device to tightly press the lamp rod.

Lamp with fastening device

A light emitting diode lamp includes a light emitting diode and a circuit board having a circuit layer and a heat conductive layer. The circuit layer includes at least one mounting area having a first electrode, a second electrode and a heat conductive section spaced from each other. A heat conductive pole is provided corresponding to the heat conductive section. Two opposite ends of the heat conductive pole are thermally attached to the light emitting diode and the heat conductive layer of the circuit board, respectively. A spacing between the heat conductive section and each of the first electrode and the second electrode ranges from 0.7 millimeter to 1.45 millimeters.

Light emitting diode lamp

A method for mounting an LED module on a support comprises providing an LED module comprising a printed circuit board and multiple LEDs mounted on the printed circuit board, a support and a plurality of fasteners, each fastener comprising a head, a pole extending downwardly from a bottom of the head, and a plurality of teeth protruding downwardly from the bottom of the head and surrounding the pole, extending the fasteners through the printed circuit board of the LED module into the support, rotating each fastener such that the teeth thereof scrape insulating layers off a metal substrate of the printed circuit board, whereby a top face of the substrate is exposed and in direct contact with the teeth of the fasteners.
