An electrical connector assembly includes: a first frame defining plural accommodating cavities; plural transmission units partially received in the accommodating cavities, respectively, each of the transmission units comprising a card edge connector received in a corresponding accommodating cavity, a motherboard connector, and a circuit board connected with the card edge connector and the motherboard connector; and a second frame attached to the first frame; wherein the second frame presses against and hold the circuit boards in position.

An electrical connector includes a bracket having a plurality of mating frames arranged side by side in a lateral direction and opening forward and plural transition modules inserted forward to be at least partially accommodated in the mating frame, wherein the bracket defines plural heat dissipation grooves each located between two adjacent frames and plural heat dissipation fins each located in a corresponding heat dissipation groove, the heat dissipation groove opening through in a front-rear direction.

Electrical connector with improved heat dissipation feature

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing forming a mating cavity, a plurality of passageways located by two sides of the mating cavity, a bottom cover attached upon a bottom side of the housing to shield the mating cavity in a vertical direction. A plurality of contacts are disposed in the corresponding passageways, respectively. Each contact includes a retaining section retained in the corresponding passageway, a resilient contacting section extending from the retaining section and into the mating cavity, and a leg extending from the retaining section and downwardly through the bottom cover. A waterproofing glue plate is attached upon the bottom cover, and the legs of the contacts extend through the glue plate. The leg forms a transverse groove located in at least one surface and embedded within the glue plate so as to enhance securement between the glue plate and the leg.

Waterproofing electrical connector

An audio jack includes an insulative housing, and a plurality of contacts retained to the housing. The housing forms a main body, a mating port with a mating cavity therein. The main body forms a plurality of contacts receiving passageways extending from a bottom side of the housing and transversely communicating with the mating cavity. The contact has a contacting section extending into the mating cavity, and a soldering leg extending outside of the housing. A bottom cover is attached upon the bottom side of the housing. A waterproof plate is applied upon a bottom face of the bottom cover to seal the gaps among the housing the bottom cover and the soldering legs.

Waterproof audio jack

A hermetic electrical adaptor includes an insulative housing and a plurality of contacts retained therein. The housing includes a base having opposite first and second surface in a vertical direction, and a set of first side walls extending from the first surface to form a first mating cavity. Each contact includes a retention section extending through the base, a first extending section located in the first mating cavity and including a first bending section. The set of first side walls forms, adjacent to the first surface, a first recess communicating with the first mating cavity so as to expose a portion of the first extending section in the first recess. A waterproof glue occupies the first recess and a bottom portion of the first mating cavity so as to surround the exposed portions of the first extending sections of the contact for assuring sealing of the adaptor.

Electrical adaptor and method makikng the same

An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of terminals retained in the housing, a metallic shell enclosing the housing and defining a mating cavity forwardly communicating with an exterior in a front-to-back direction, a compressible gasket surrounding a front edge region of the shell, and a metallic mounting bracket positioned upon the shell in the vertical direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction wherein the mounting bracket includes a flange located at the front edge thereof and extending in a vertical direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction to forwardly abut against the compressible gasket for preventing rearward movement of the compressible gasket.

Waterproof electrical connector

An electrical connector has a mating cavity opening forwardly. The electrical connector has a main body, a terminal module and a sealing member. The terminal module has an insulator and a plurality of conductive terminals received therein. The conductive terminals have contacting portions exposed into the mating cavity and connecting legs. The terminal module is received in the main body. The sealing member is filled in a gap between the terminal module and main body to seal the gap.
