A technology for interacting with a collaborative videoconferencing environment is disclosed. A display having a substantially 'L-shaped' configuration allows for display of collaborative materials and video of remote participants simultaneously, which provides for a more natural interaction for a meeting participant interacting with the collaborative materials. Meeting participants in the collaborative videoconferencing environment, both locally and remote, can simultaneously interact with the same content as if they were in the same location.

Multi-site screen interactions

An arrangement for a collaborative videoconferencing environment is disclosed. A display having a substantially 'L-shaped' configuration allows for display of collaborative materials and video of remote participants simultaneously, which provides for a more natural interaction for a meeting participant interacting with the collaborative materials. Additionally, a camera is arranged to focus on the meeting participants shoulder while the meeting participant is interacting with the collaborative materials. Such location of the camera provides a more natural view of the collaborator to remote users.

The technology can configure a meeting experience based on the classification of the meeting participant.

Method and apparatus for watermarking wavetable synthesis architectures

A method, an apparatus and a computer program product are disclosed for protecting the legitimacy of an article ( ), and in particular an electronic document, against forgery or fraud. Such articles include passports, credit cards, bank notes, lottery tickets, secure forms. The method includes the following steps: several watermarks ( ) are generated independently ( ) by different cryptographic watermarking mechanisms controlled utilising information permanently associated within the article or product ( ); and each watermark is embedded in a linked cryptographic manner ( ). Subsequently, the watermarks can be scanned and digitised ( ). The authenticity of the article ( ) can be determined by verifying the correctness of extracted watermarks and the encryption links ( ) among them. Also disclosed is a method of embedding an invisible watermark ( ) in an official seal ( ) incorporated in an electronic article or document ( ).

Method and apparatus for protecting the legitimacy of an article

A steganographic method is disclosed to embed an invisible watermark into an image. It can be used for copyright protection, content authentication or content annotation. The technique is mainly based on K-L transform. Firstly a block and cluster step and cluster selection step are performed to enhance the optimization of K-L transform for a given image. Then a watermark is embedded into the selected eigen-clusters. ECC (Error Correction Code) can be employed to reduce the embedded code error rate. The proposed method is characterized by robustness despite the degradation or modification on the watermarked content. Furthermore, the method can be extended to video, audio or other multimedia especially for multimedia databases in which the stored multimedia are categorized by their contents or classes.

Method and apparatus for embedding digital information in digital multimedia data

A method, an apparatus and a computer program product for adaptive, content-based watermark embedding of a digital audio signal ( ) are disclosed. Corresponding watermark extracting techniques are also disclosed. Watermark information ( ) is encrypted ( ) using an audio digest signal, i.e. a watermark key ( ). To optimally balance inaudibility and robustness when embedding and extracting watermarks ( ), the original audio signal ( ) is divided into fixed-length frames ( ) in the time domain.
