An electrochemical device includes a first electrode assembly, a second electrode assembly, and a packaging shell. The first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly B are each located in a separate cavity in the packaging shell. Two opposite-polarity tabs of the first electrode assembly and the second electrode assembly are connected in the packaging shell. The connected two opposite-polarity tabs comprise a first tab extending out of the packaging shell. Such design of extending the tabs and the design of ion insulation between the hermetic cavities improve the charge and discharge performance and the product quality of the electrochemical device.

Electrochemical device and electronic device containing the same

The embodiments of the present application relate to an electrode sheet and a battery cell including the same. The electrode sheet according to an embodiment comprises an electrode sheet body and a plurality of tabs connected to the electrode sheet body. The width of each of the plurality of tabs is different from one another; or the length of each of the plurality of tabs is different from one another. The electrode sheet and the battery cell provided in the embodiments of the present application ensure that each of the tabs in the electrode sheet can electrically conduct well with the tab lead. Thus, the battery cell provided in the present application has the advantage of good electrical conductivity.

An electrode plate for a lithium battery includes a composite current collector, a first active material layer, and a first electrode tab. The composite current collector includes a polymer layer and first metallic layer thereon. The first active material layer is disposed on a surface of the first metallic layer facing away from the polymer layer. The first active material layer defines a first receiving groove at an edge of the first active material layer. The first electrode tab is received in the first receiving groove, and is electrically connected to the first metallic layer. The thickness of the first electrode tab can be varied according to the electrical resistance desired. Thus, a high resistance of the first electrode tab is avoided.

A composite electrode plate of increased robustness and with better electrical properties for incorporation in a battery cell includes a composite current collector, a positive active material layer, a negative active material layer, a first isolation layer, and a second isolation layer. The composite current collector is disposed between the positive active material layer and the negative active material layer. The first isolation layer connects to a surface of the positive active material layer away from the composite current collector. The second isolation layer connects to a surface of the negative active material layer away from the composite current collector.

Composite electrode plate and battery cell using the same

The present application relates to an anode, and an electrochemical device and an electronic device comprising the same. Embodiments of the present application provided an anode comprising: a current collector, a first anode structure layer and a second anode structure layer. The first anode structure layer comprises a first framework material and the second anode structure layer comprises a second framework material, wherein the first anode structure layer is disposed between the current collector and the second anode structure layer, and the first framework material has a higher oxidation-reduction potential for lithium ion or electronic conductivity than the second framework material. When the anode with double-layer structure provided by the present application is charged, the space utilization ratio of the anode can be enhanced, the rate capability of the electrochemical device can be enhanced, the formation of lithium dendrites may be inhibited, and the volume change amount of the anode can be reduced, thereby enhancing the safety performance and cycle performance of the electrochemical device.

An electrode assembly includes a cathode electrode plate, an anode electrode plate, and a separator disposed between the cathode electrode plate and the anode electrode plate. At least one of the cathode electrode plate and the anode electrode plate is an electrode plate which includes a current collector and a first conductive connector. The current collector includes an insulating layer having opposite side surfaces, a first conductive layer, a second conductive layer, and two electrode active substance layers. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are arranged on opposite side surfaces, and the two electrode active substance layers are coated onto the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. The first conductive connector electrically connects the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer. The electrode assembly is formed by coiling the cathode electrode plate, the separator, and the anode electrode plate.

The present application relates to a composite current collector, and a composite electrode and an electrochemical device comprising the same. The composite current collector of the present application comprises an intermediate layer, a first metal layer, a second metal layer, and a through hole. The intermediate layer has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the first metal layer is disposed on the first surface, and the second metal layer is disposed on the second surface. The through hole penetrates through the intermediate layer, the first metal layer and the second metal layer, wherein the through hole is filled with an electrically insulated ionic conductor.
