Disclosed are an image processing method and an image processing apparatus, and an electronic device using same. The image processing method includes: acquiring a first image by a first photographing unit; acquiring a second image by a second photographing unit; registering a first region in the first image and the second image to obtain a registration result, where the first region and the second image correspond to the same field of view; and fusing the first region and the second image according to the registration result to obtain a fusion image. Images acquired by photographing units with at least two different fields of view can be fused, so as to optimize image duality, display higher-definition images and solve the technical problem of poor quality of images acquired on the basis of a plurality of photographing units.

The zooming method includes: acquiring a first image by a first camera unit; acquiring a current frame image by scaling the first image according to a zoom instruction; acquiring a second image by a second camera unit; and switching the first camera unit to the second camera unit for outputting the second image.

The present invention is to provide a method for achieving a clear and precise optical zooming mechanism, which is applied to an electronic device equipped with a wide-angle image capturing element and a long-focus image capturing element. The wide-angle image capturing element and the long-focus image capturing element are controlled by the electronic device for capturing a wide-angle image and a long-focus image of a same spot simultaneously and respectively. The method enables the electronic device to sequentially perform an exposure and white balance adjustment process, a robust image matching algorithm and an image morphing fusion process to the wide-angle image and the long-focus image, respectively, so as to generate a clear and precise optical zooming image of the spot without having a significant skipping phenomenon occurred in an object within two zooming images.

The image sensor captures image data, detects a pet face in the image data, and locates a plurality of candidate eye regions in the pet face. A classifier of the image processor verifies at least one eye region of the plurality of candidate eye regions, and the image processor recovers an abnormal pupil region of the at least one verified eye region.
