The rotation shaft structure includes a main shaft assembly, and two folding assemblies that are symmetrically disposed with respect to the main shaft assembly. The two folding assemblies may rotate toward or against each other relative to the main shaft assembly. When the folding assembly is specifically disposed, the folding assembly includes a rotation assembly, a support plate, and a housing mounting bracket. The rotation assembly is rotationally connected to the main shaft assembly. The support plate is rotationally connected to the housing mounting bracket and slidably connected to the rotation assembly.

Rotation shaft structure and electronic device

This application provides a rotation shaft structure and an electronic device. The rotation shaft structure includes a main shaft assembly, and two folding assemblies. The folding assembly includes a rotation assembly, a support plate, and a housing mounting bracket. The rotation assembly is rotationally connected to the main shaft assembly. The support plate is rotationally connected to the housing mounting bracket and slidably connected to the rotation assembly. When two housing mounting brackets rotate toward each other, two support plates rotate in a same direction relative to the housing mounting brackets on corresponding sides, so that the two support plates and the main shaft assembly can form a triangle-like display accommodation space. When the electronic device is in a closed state, the display accommodation space can be used for accommodating a bent portion of the flexible display, so that the flexible display is not damaged by extrusion.

This disclosure relates to a folding module and a foldable electronic device. A first protrusion and a first sliding slot are provided between a drive portion and a first connection member. A second protrusion and a second sliding slot are provided between the drive portion and a second connection member. A first drive spring and a second drive spring press against the drive portion. In a process in which the first support member folds or unfolds relative to the second support member, folding or unfolding can be implemented provided that the first support member and the second support member rotate by a relatively small angle, so that a speed of folding or unfolding of the first support member relative to the second support member is increased.

Folding module and foldable electronic device

A rotating shaft structure includes a damping component, a first shaft body and a second shaft body. A first limiting slot is disposed on a circumferential surface of the first shaft body. The damping component is located between the first shaft body and the second shaft body. The damping component includes one or more damping groups. Each damping group includes an elastic part and a first ball. The first ball abuts against the circumferential surface of the first shaft body by using elastic force of the elastic part. A second end of the elastic part is elastically connected to the circumferential surface of the second shaft body. In a rotation process of the first shaft body, the first ball rolls relative to the circumferential surface of the first shaft body and can be positioned in the first limiting slot.

A folding apparatus includes a first housing, a first support plate, a middle housing, a first mounting bracket, a first transmission arm, and a first rotating arm. The first mounting bracket is fixed to the first housing, the first transmission arm is rotatably connected to the middle housing, a rotation center is a first axis, and the first transmission arm is slidably connected to the first mounting bracket and slidably connected to the first support plate. The first rotating arm is rotatably connected to the middle housing, a rotation center is a second axis, the first rotating arm is rotatably connected to the first mounting bracket, and the second axis and the first axis are not collinear. The first support plate is rotatably connected to the first mounting bracket, so that the first housing and the first support plate switch between a flattened state and a folded state.
