Methods and systems provide for applying a video effect to a video corresponding to a participant within a video communication session. The system displays a video for each of at least a subset of the participants and a user interface including a selectable video effects UI element. The system receives a selection by a participant of the video effects UI element. In response to receiving the selection, the system displays a variety of video effects options for modifying the appearance of the video and/or modifying a visual representation of the participant. The system then receives a selection by the participant of a video effects option, and further receives a subselection for customizing the amount of the video effect to be applied. The system then applies, in real time or substantially real time, the selected video effect in the selected amount to the video corresponding to the participant.

Method for digitizing bone marrow smear

A saturation clustering-based method for positioning bone marrow white blood cells: first, pre-processing a bone marrow white blood cell image to eliminate partial noise points and simultaneously smooth the image; using K-means clustering to cluster saturation channels of the bone marrow white blood cell image, and select the type of the white blood cells according to a decision tree algorithm; next, eliminating irrelevant areas in a binary image of the white blood cells by means of a morphology processing algorithm, and simultaneously filling in point holes in the white blood cells; and finally, positioning the white blood cells. The present method is simple and effective, and is suitable for a wide range of applications compared to existing threshold-based algorithms, while rendering a final result more accurate by integrating the decision tree algorithm.

Method for localization of bone marrow white blood cells based on saturation clustering

An information display method, and apparatus, and devices are provided. The method includes providing an information editing interface; receiving a first type of information input by a user in the information editing interface; obtaining a second type of information corresponding to the first type of information, wherein the second type of information is translation information of the first type of information; and displaying the second type of information in the information editing interface. By adopting the technical solutions of the present disclosure, when the user inputs information in the information editing interface, the information input by the user may be synchronously translated, the translated information is displayed to the user by the information editing interface, so during the process when the user inputs the information, the translation information of the then-input information may be seen in real time, and the translation information may be modified, thereby improving user experience.

Embodiments of the present application provide operation retry methods and apparatuses. One exemplary method includes: detecting whether an operation of a job fails; if there is an operation failure, collecting statistics on a progress of the job; calculating a retry interval according to the progress of the job; and re-executing the operation after waiting for the retry interval. When an operation of a job fails, the retry interval can be adaptively calculated according to the progress of the job. This can help increase the length of the retry interval, especially for a long job. The job can thereby be retried dynamically, to cope with longer service interruption. Embodiments of the present application can help avoid waste of resource waste caused by job failure and job re-execution, and reduce the retry costs while ensuring the success rate of the job.
