According to some embodiments, systems and methods are provided including an automatic testing (AT) framework including an automatic testing (AT) tool and an AT engine; a processing unit coupled to the automatic testing framework to: generate a JSON file, wherein the JSON file is a test case; upload the generated test case to a database of the AT framework; and execute the test case in response to uploading, wherein execution further comprises: reading the test case from the database; validating the JSON file matches a JSON schema; mocking the test case to generate an executable test, including one or more nullable values based on the generated JSON file; executing the executable test to generate an output; and verifying the generated output by comparing the generated output to an expected output in the test case. A composite waterproof breathable sock with two-way extensible properties, wherein each sock is formed by lamination of an outer layer, an inner layer and an intermediate waterproof and breathable sock-like film component on a one-step forming mould. The outer layer, or both the outer and inner layers, is/are knitted by deploying fine twisted elastic yarns consistently into all the knitting courses of the main body for each such layer, so as to make the composite sock therefore extensible in both weft X and warp Y directions after lamination of the layer(s) to the waterproof film component such that the composite sock will be recoverable uniformly after stretching to a relaxed conformation. The composite sock can be sewn with a water seal kit inside the cuff band, wherein the cuff band is extended from the outer component of the sock. The in-cuff seal kit can be constructed by a sew-in waterproof polyurethane elastic fabric in round shape.

Methods and apparatus are provided for framing synchronization control for a framer/mapper/multiplexor (FMM) device with 1+1 and equipment protection. FMM device are disclosed that synchronize one or more internal signals by changing a phase of the one or more internal signals without changing a frequency of the one or more internal signals based on a desired phase at a destination of each of the one or more internal signals. A programmable synchronization signal may optionally be employed for the synchronization.

An apparatus for monitoring of received information in a communication device comprises a first buffer having a plurality of storage elements adapted to store respective portions of the received information, a second buffer coupled to the first buffer and having a plurality of storage elements corresponding to respective ones of the storage elements of the first buffer, and controller circuitry coupled to the buffers and operative to detect a message sequence comprising a plurality of the portions of the received information. The second buffer stores a previously-detected message sequence loaded from the first buffer into the second buffer under control of the controller circuitry. The controller circuitry in detecting a current message sequence is configurable in at least first and second different monitoring modes each associated with a different message format. The monitoring mode of the controller circuitry may be adaptively configured based at least in part on a detected message sequence.

The method comprises the steps of identifying a disk error associated with the defective storage device; effecting an error recovery pause based on the disk error; processing one or more outstanding data storage or retrieval requests; and generating a new data storage request instructing the physical disk device array having the defective storage device to store valid data associated with the data storage or retrieval request corresponding to the disk device error, whereby the defective storage device is repaired.

In one embodiment, the present invention is a framer/mapper/multiplexor (FMM) device that can simultaneously (i) send protection copies of both its working incoming high-speed (e.g., STS-12) signal and incoming low-speed signals to a protection FMM device, and (ii) receive corresponding protection signals from the protection FMM device. Furthermore, the FMM device can select between working and protection signals at a switching level (e.g., STS-1) lower than the high-speed level, allowing for 1+1 APS/MSP protection and equipment protection at the board level, the device level, and at the STS-1 level. Yet further, four or more FMM devices can be configured so that all FMM devices can communicate with their corresponding protection FMM devices using a single, shared, 4-pin link (e.g., quad-OC-3 mode), and still select between working and protection signals at the switching level (e.g., STS-1).

A method includes storing video data in a disk by way of a first queue comprising a linked list of buffers. Video data are received into the first queue by way of a tail buffer. The tail buffer is at one end of the linked list of buffers in the first queue. Video data are copied from a head buffer to the disk. The head buffer is at another end of the linked list of buffers in the first queue. The video data are displayed in real-time directly from the buffers in the queue, without retrieving the displayed video data from the disk, and without interrupting the storing step.

A method comprises providing a free buffer pool in a memory including a non-negative number of free buffers that are not allocated to a queue for buffering data. A request is received to add one of the free buffers to the queue. A method includes assigning each of a plurality of disk write and disk read requests to respective ones of a plurality of queues. Each queue has an occupancy level and a weight. A score is assigned to each of the plurality of queues, based on the occupancy and weight of the respective queue. An operation type is selected to be granted a next disk access. The selection is from the group consisting of disk write, disk read, and processor request. One of the queues is selected based on the score assigned to each queue, if the selected operation type is disk write request or disk read request. The next disk access is granted to the selected operation type and, if the selected operation type is disk write or disk read, to the selected queue.

In a method of accessing a single port memory, a plurality of read commands are received from a plurality of requestors for memory read access. A respective plurality of parameters corresponding to each of the plurality of read commands is stored in a memory read command queue. The parameters corresponding to one of the read commands are retrieved from the memory read command queue when the single port memory provides the data corresponding to that read command. One or more of the parameters from the memory read command queue are provided while providing the data from the memory.
