A multi-antenna array for a LTE MIMO communication system is provided in an embodiment of this invention, comprising a reflection plate and a power feed network disposed on the back of the reflection plate, a plurality of power distribution plates being arranged on the back of the reflection plate for controlling power distribution for antenna radiation units in different polarization manners respectively, the plurality of power distribution plates being disposed in upper and lower layers and are located at the geometrical center of a parallel plane of the reflection plate. The embodiment of this invention may prevent the scrambled arrangement of the power feed network in a multi-antenna array adopted in a LTE MIMO communication system, simplify power feed manner of antenna radiation units in different polarization manners, reduce complexity and the rate of errors in mass production of multi-antenna arrays of LTE MIMO communication systems, and facilitate locating faults and replacing feed circuits.

Multi-antenna array for long term evolution multi-input multi-output communication system

A quadri-polarized antenna oscillator, a quadri-polarized antenna, and a quadri-polarized multi-antenna array are provided. The quadri-polarized antenna oscillator comprises four polarized oscillators, wherein midpoints of the four polarized oscillators are coincident; a polarization direction of a first polarized oscillator is a horizontal direction; a polarization direction of a second polarized oscillator is perpendicular to the horizontal direction; a polarization direction of a third polarized oscillator has a 45&#xb0; angle with the horizontal direction; and a polarization direction of a fourth polarized oscillator has a &#x2212;45&#xb0; angle with the horizontal direction. By integrating four polarized oscillators having different polarization directions into one antenna oscillator, the width of the MIMO multi-antenna is reduced, and the horizontal space between two columns of dual-polarized antennas is not required any more, thus the deployment of LTE and 4G networks are favorably implemented without extra space requirement to the top surface of a base station.

Quadri-polarized antenna radiator, quadri-polarized antenna and quadri-polarized multi-antenna array

An array antenna and a base station are provided. The array antenna comprises a plurality of linear arrays, uplink-downlink duplexers, and beam-forming networks. Each linear array is a dual-polarized linear array. An input end of the beam-forming network is coupled with a downlink signal output end of a RF (Radio Frequency) unit, and two output ends of the beam-forming network are respectively coupled with downlink signal transmitting ends of two uplink-downlink duplexers; transceiving ends shared by two uplink-downlink duplexers are respectively coupled with arrays having the same polarization direction of two adjacent linear arrays, and the two arrays having the same polarization direction form a beam with 65-degree beamwidth on the downlink through the beam-forming network; uplink signal output ends of the two uplink-downlink duplexers are coupled with uplink signal input ends of the RF unit; linear arrays uncoupled with uplink-downlink duplexers in the plurality of linear arrays are all coupled with the uplink signal input ends of the RF unit respectively. Thereby, a beam with 65-degree beamwidth may be formed by a transmitting antenna on a downlink.

Array antenna and base station

This invention discloses a multi-mode antenna and a base station, the multi-mode antenna comprising a CDMA dual-polarized antenna for CDMA radio frequency signals and two MIMO dual-polarized antennas for LTE radio frequency signals with a plurality of linearly arranged radiation elements; the two MIMO dual-polarized antennas are respectfully vertically stacked right above and right below the center radiation element of the CDMA dual-polarized antenna; and the radiation elements in the two MIMO dual-polarized antennas are nested in or inserted between the radiation elements of the CDMA dual-polarized antenna according to the distance between the radiation elements of the CDMA dual-polarized antenna and the distance between the radiation elements of each MIMO dual-polarized antenna. The present invention combines the technologies of nested antenna radiation elements and vertical isolation separation of MIMO antennas so as to integrate a CDMA dual-polarized antenna and two MIMO dual-polarized antennas into one physical antenna.

Multi-mode antenna and base station

A resource allocation algorithm identifies a resource hogger in a wireless communication system data sharing arrangement and control shared resource overuse by the resource hogger. In one embodiment, the base station for a given sector in the system tracks the time-slot usage of each active user in the sector. If the usage for any user reaches a predetermined hogger threshold, normal target QoS enforcement is suspended for that user to allow more time slots to be allocated to the other, non-hogger users. When the resource hogger user's usage falls below the threshold, target QoS enforcement is returned to that user. Temporarily suspending target QoS enforcement for resource hoggers and allocating the remaining resources to other users prevents resource hoggers from deteriorating performance of the entire system.

Method for controlling resource allocation in a wireless communication system

In one embodiment the method includes allocating, for a mobile, forward link resources for transmitting data over a shared forward link data channel without allocating reverse link resources for reverse link data transmission in association with the allocated forward link resources. Hierarchical communication systems generally have communication nodes at different levels of hierarchy. Establishment of the communication session is initiated based on the stored connection information if the blocking condition no longer exists at the blocking node.
