Disclosed herein is a laundry or cleaning composition comprising (i) from about 0.001 wt. % to about 50 wt. % of at least one cationic polymer selected from the group consisting of poly acrylamidopropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride Poly(APTAC), polydiallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride poly(DADMAC), copolymers of polyAPTAC, copolymers of polyDADMAC, terpolymers of polyAPTAC, and/or terpolymers of polyDADMAC; (ii) from about 0.01 wt. % to about 50 wt. % of at least one non-ionic surfactant; (iii) optionally, from about 0.001 wt. % to about 5 wt. % of at least one enzyme; and (iv) optionally, from about 0.01 wt. % to about 25 wt. % of at least one laundry or cleaning additive, wherein said composition is capable of exhibiting color wash fastness or color maintenance.

Stable laundry cleaning composition and method comprising a polyAPTAC-containing polymer

Functional additives for cleansing compositions exhibiting enhanced anti soil-re-deposition and/or dye transfer inhibitory properties comprising polymers in the form of homopolymers, copolymers or terpolymers synthesized from at least one hydrophobic monomer. A cleaning tablet comprising a hydrogen-bonded complex of poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone) containing, by weight, about 15-20 wt. % HO, and ingredients capable of producing an effervescent effect in aqueous solution by release of carbon dioxide therefrom which comprises an alkali carbonate and/or bicarbonate base and an organic acid.

Cleaning tablet

A laundry detergent formulation includes a dirt suspending agent which is a blend of an anionic material, such as an anionic polymer, and a quaternary ammonium salt. This suspending agent prevents redeposition of dirt which is removed from clothing by a laundry detergent from redepositing onto cleaned clothes during the wash cycle, while allowing it to be removed completely during the rinse cycle.

A micro-emulsified fragrance composition provides an effective fragrance delivery system when present in a laundry composition, e.g. a laundry fabric softener formulation, or when delivered from a substrate. This composition can deposit a substantial amount of fragrance material onto the surface intended for deposition during the wash, rinse, dry, or post-dry cycles.

A tablet of compacted particulate cleaning composition has about 0.5-10% by wt. of a composite disintegrant blend of, by weight, (a) about 20-80% of a water soluble salt, (b) about 80-20% of crosslinked polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVPP), the tablet having a disintegration rate of at least 40 g/min.
