A three-dimensional holographic display device includes a light emitting diode (LED) array including a plurality of light sources controlled to sequentially output light according to a preset pattern, a lens configured to refract light incident from the LED array, a spatial light modulator (SLM) configured to modulate light incident from the lens, and a processor configured to generate a plurality of holographic signals each comprising depth information adjusted according to an arrangement location of each of the plurality of light sources, and for each of the plurality of light sources, control the SLM to modulate the light based on a holographic signal corresponding to the light source.

3D holographic display device and operating method of the same

A display apparatus, includes: a liquid crystal panel; and a backlight configured to provide light to the liquid crystal panel, the backlight including a substrate and a light-emitting diode (LED) that is mounted on the substrate. The LED includes a plurality of light-emitting layers configured to emit light of different wavelengths. A wavelength of light emitted from each of the plurality of light-emitting layers is greater than or equal to 430 nm and less than or equal to 480 nm.

A display apparatus includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels each having red, green, and blue LEDs; a display panel driver applying a current to each of the LEDs; a memory storing current intensity information according to target luminance of each of the LEDs; and a processor controlling the display panel driver to apply a current to each of the LEDs based on the current intensity information, wherein the processor is configured to control the display panel driver to apply an additional current to the green LED when a target luminance of the red LED is smaller than a predetermined luminance.
