A series of peptides and a peptide-siRNA complex are disclosed, wherein the peptide based complex effectively enhances delivery of siRNA molecules into the cells and release of siRNA in the cell, and improves siRNA mediated gene silencing efficiency of cellular targets. Pharmaceutical compositions that include the complex, as well as a use of the complex in the gene therapy field, are also disclosed.

Peptide, complex of peptide and siRNA, and methods of use thereof

A battery, including a cathode, an anode, and an electrolyte solution. The cathode includes a cathode active substance and a cathode current collector. The electrolyte solution includes first metal ions and second metal ions. In a charging/discharging process, the first metal ions can be reversibly deintercalated-intercalated at the cathode, the second metal ions can be reduced and deposited as a second metal at the anode, and the second metal can be oxidized and dissolved back to the second metal ions. The anode includes a anode active substance and a anode current collector. A lead-containing substance is provided on a surface of the anode active substance and/or in the electrolyte solution. A mass ratio of lead in the lead-containing substance to the battery is not greater than 1000 ppm.

A battery has a cathode, an anode and an electrolyte, with the cathode having a cathode current collector and a cathode material. The cathode material has a cathode active material, which is capable of reversibly intercalating and deintercalating first metal ions. The electrolyte has a solvent capable of dissolving the first metal ions and second metal ions that can be reduced to a metal during a charge cycle and be oxidized from the metal to the dissolved second metal ions during a discharge cycle. The cathode current collector has an electrochemically inert carrier and graphite. The carrier is wrapped by the graphite. The cathode current collector provided has good corrosion resistance and the battery has a long floating charge life and a low cost.

An electrode composite material is disclosed in the invention. The electrode composite material comprises ABCD, wherein A is selected from at least one of polypyrrole, polyacrylonitrile, and polyacrylonitrile copolymer; B comprises sulfur; C is selected from carbon material; D is selected from metal oxides, l&#x2266;x&#x2266;20, 0&#x2266;y&#x3c;l, and 0&#x2266;z&#x3c;1. Comparing to the prior art, the conductivity of the electrode composite material is obviously increased, the material is dispersed uniformly and the size of the material is small. A method for manufacturing the electrode composite material, a positive electrode using the electrode composite material and a battery including the same are also disclosed in the invention.

The peptides of the invention were found to facilitate the delivery of siRNA molecules into cells and to function in siRNA mediated silencing of cellular targets.
