Provided is a computer-implemented method for conducting a payment transaction to ensure data integrity of the payment transaction that includes generating a transaction authorization request message, where the transaction authorization request message comprises a payload associated with an electronic funds transfer at a point-of-sale (POS) device, and where generating the transaction authorization request message includes generating a digital signature for the payload using a private key of a payment gateway system and inserting the digital signature for the payload into the transaction authorization request message, transmitting the transaction authorization request message including the digital signature, and receiving a transaction authorization response message from a transaction service provider system. A system and computer program product are also provided.

Embodiments of the invention are directed to techniques for redirecting data streams from a production environment to validate non-production software code. In some embodiments, a front-end computer executing a first version of software can receive a request message from a requesting computer, generate a request payload using the request message, transmit the request payload to a processor computer, receive a response payload from the processor computer, generate a reply message using the response payload, and provide, to a validation computer that is executing a second version of the software, the request message, the request payload, and the response payload. The validation computer can generate a modified request payload using the request message and a modified reply message using the response payload. To detect potential errors in the second version, the modified request payload is compared with the request payload and the modified reply message is compare with the reply message.

Testing software code in a production environment

A security gateway receives messages, such as URL requests, rejected by a message filter based on a set of rules. The security gateway maintains frequencies with which the messages were rejected by the rules. The security gateway finds rejected messages having a high frequency of occurrence. Since messages having a high frequency of occurrences are more likely to represent legitimate requests rather than malicious attacks, the security gateway generates exception rules, which would allow similar messages to pass through the gateway.
