A capacitive level gauge for a container of a medium like compressed gas or liquid, comprising a body configured for being mounted on the container; two parallel lamellar electrodes extending from the body, for being inside the container and in contact with the medium; wherein the capacitive level gauge further comprises at least one spacer with two slots engaging with the two electrodes, respectively, maintaining a constant distance between the electrodes.

The invention is directed to a gauge body for a container for pressurized gas, comprising a mounting surface for mounting the body to the container; an inner side in contact with the pressurized gas when mounted on the container; an outer side opposite to the inner side with regard to the mounting surface, the outer side being outside of the container when the body is mounted on the container; an electrical lead extending in a gas tight manner through the body from the inner side to the outer side. The electrical lead comprises a metallic rod and a bushing around the rod, the bushing being mounted a gas tight manner on the body.

This invention relates to a tap assembly for a liquid vessel, having an overfill protection device and a float controlled mechanical or magnetic level gauge. A single float actuates a stem of the overfill protection device as well as a rod of the level gauge. The rod of the level gauge has one end movable linearly in a valve body bore and carrying a permanent magnet for actuating a magnetic level indicator. In one embodiment a crank mechanism may be provided between a float lever and the rod of the level gauge to cause the rod to effectuate a swinging movement and simultaneously displace the rod longitudinally to cause linear displacement of the permanent magnet in the valve body bore. In another embodiment the rod may be actuated by a cam to cause axial displacement thereof without swinging motion.
