An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate including a homogenised dill seed material including dill seed particles, an aerosol former, and a binder, at least 100 micrograms of carvone per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis, and at least 2 micrograms of limonene per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis, in which an amount of carvone per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate is no more than 50 times an amount of limonene per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate. An aerosol-generating substrate, an aerosol, an and a method of making an aerosol-generating substrate, are also provided.

Dill-containing aerosol-generating substrate

A heatable aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate, including a homogenised chamomile material, the homogenised chamomile material including at least 2.5 percent by weight of chamomile particles on a dry weight basis, an aerosol former, and a binder, at least 20 micrograms of bisabolol oxide A per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis, at least 100 micrograms of tonghaosu isomers per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis, and at least 15 micrograms of alpha-bisabolol per gram of the aerosol-generating substrate, on a dry weight basis; and at least one hollow tube immediately downstream of the aerosol-generating substrate. An aerosol-generating system, including an aerosol-generating device including a heating element, and a heatable aerosol-generating article, is also provided.

Aerosol-generating substrate comprisingspecies

An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate including a homogenised star anise material including star anise particles, an aerosol former, an exogenous binder, and up to 15 percent by weight of fibres, on a dry weight basis; at least 70 micrograms of (E)-anethole per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; at least 50 micrograms of epoxyanethole per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; and at least 130 micrograms of benzyl isoeugenol ether per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis, and the fibres have lengths of greater than 400 micrometres. An aerosol-generating substrate, an aerosol-generating system, and a method of making an aerosol-generating substrate are also provided.

Aerosol-generating substrate comprising illicium species

An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-generating substrate including a homogenised ginger material including ginger particles, an aerosol former, and a binder; at least 10 micrograms of [6]-gingerol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; at least 90 micrograms of [10]-gingerol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; at least 70 micrograms of [10]-shogaol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; at least 30 micrograms of [8]-shogaol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis; and at least 80 micrograms of [6]-shogaol per gram of the substrate, on a dry weight basis. An aerosol-generating substrate, an aerosol-generating system, and an aerosol produced upon heating of an aerosol-generating substrate, are also provided.

A plant cell comprising: (a) a polynucleotide sequence encoding a nitrate reductase polypeptide comprising a contiguous polypeptide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 5 or SEQ ID NO: 7, wherein methionine is substituted for an amino acid that reduces nitrate reductase activity in the plant cell as compared to a control plant cell; (b) a polypeptide sequence encoded by the polynucleotide sequence set forth in (a); or (c) a construct, vector or expression vector comprising the polynucleotide sequence set forth in (b).

Modulation of nitrate levels in plants via mutation of nitrate reductase

In one aspect, there is provided a mutant, non-naturally occurring or transgenic plant cell comprising: (i) a polynucleotide comprising, consisting or consisting essentially of a sequence encoding a member of the CLC family of chloride channels and having at least 60% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:2 or SEQ ID NO:3 or SEQ ID NO:4 or SEQ ID NO:10 or SEQ ID NO:11; (ii) a polypeptide encoded by the polynucleotide set forth in (i); (iii) a polypeptide comprising, consisting or consisting essentially of a sequence encoding a member of the CLC family of chloride channels and having at least 60% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:5 or SEQ ID NO:6 or SEQ ID NO:7 or SEQ ID NO:12 or SEQ ID NO:13 or SEQ ID NO:14; or (iv) a construct, vector or expression vector comprising the isolated polynucleotide set forth in (i); and wherein the expression or activity of the polynucleotide or the polypeptide is modulated as compared to a control plant and wherein the nitrate levels in the mutant, non-naturally occurring or transgenic plant containing the mutant, non-naturally occurring or transgenic plant cell are modulated as compared to the control plant containing the control plant cell.
