The present invention disclosed a shaped object comprising nano cellulose alone or a composition of nano cellulose for inclusion in a paper product and process for preparation thereof. The present invention further disclosed a paper product having the shaped objects incorporated therein. The shaped objects are used as a security feature for identifying and authenticating security documents.

The present invention provides silk fibroin micro-particles having a high crystallinity index (1.3-1.5) and low sphericity index (&#x2264;0.01) and a process for the preparation thereof. The high crystallinity index confers longer degradation periods to the instant silk fibroin micro-particles, therefore facilitating their use in biomedical applications.

The present invention discloses the adherent PHBV-PCDA electrospun mats on paper for use as an authentication feature. Further disclosed herein is the process for preparation of adherent PHBV-PCDA electrospun mats and use of the above product to authenticate cigarettes.
