There is disclosed a refrigeration system comprising a refrigeration circuit that includes a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve and an evaporator. A condenser fan of the refrigeration system is configured to operate, under the control of a controller, at a condenser fan speed that is set based on a current refrigeration demand on the system.

Speed control strategies for a condenser fan in a refrigeration system

The present disclosure provides a system including an oil flooded compressor operable for compressing a working fluid. A dehumidifier is positioned upstream of the compressor to reduce the humidity of working fluid entering the compressor and to cool oil while regenerating the dehumidifier. A heat exchanger positioned upstream of the compressor includes passageways for oil and compressible working fluid to be transported in a heat transfer relationship therethrough such that the temperature of the oil is reduced within the heat exchanger. A control system including an electronic controller is operable for controlling an inlet temperature of the oil entering the compressor, controlling an inlet temperature and humidity of working fluid entering the compressor and a discharge temperature of the working fluid exiting the compressor.

Oil flooded compressor system and method

Methods and systems for a MTRS with an ejector system are provided. The system can include a refrigeration circuit that has a compressor, a first heat exchanger downstream of the compressor, first and second heat exchange units downstream of the first heat exchanger, and an ejector system downstream of the first and second heat exchange units and upstream of the compressor. The first heat exchange unit provides independent climate control to a first zone of the transport unit. The second heat exchange unit provides independent climate control to a second zone of the transport unit. The ejector system mixes refrigerant exiting the first heat exchange unit with refrigerant exiting the second heat exchange unit, increases the pressure of the mixed refrigerant, and directs the mixed refrigerant to the compressor.
