The generated client device notification(s) can each indicate the change in state associated with the at least one IoT device, and can optionally indicate the at least one IoT device. Further, the remote automated assistant component(s) can identify candidate assistant client devices that are associated with the at least one IoT device, and determine whether each of the one or more of the candidate assistant client device(s) should render a corresponding client device notification. The remote automated assistant component(s) can then transmit a corresponding command to each of the assistant client device(s) it determines should render a corresponding client device notification, where each transmitted command causes the corresponding assistant client device to render the corresponding client device notification.

A method for a smart device management resource picker includes receiving an authorization request from a third party. The authorization request requests access to a user resource managed by the device manager. The device manager manages access controls associated with a plurality of user devises, the access controls are configured by a user. The method also includes determining whether the third party is authorized to access the user resource managed by the device manager. When the third party is authorized to access the user resource managed by the device manager, the method includes determining whether the user has configured access controls at the device manager that governs the user resource subject to the authorization request. When the user has configured a respective access control that governs the user resource subject to the authorization request, the method includes communicating a response to the authorization request based on the respective access control.

Methods and systems for performing a round trip time determination between two devices are described. An example method may include publishing, over a wireless network interface by a first device within a neighbor aware network (NAN) cluster, a schedule that invites devices within the NAN cluster to request, within a time window, to perform a round trip time (RTT) determination with the first device. The schedule may indicate that the time window begins at a time offset from a NAN discovery window and ends after a predetermined period of time has elapsed. The method may also include receiving a request, from a second device within the NAN cluster, to perform the RTT determination with the first device. The method may also include performing the RTT determination with the second device.

Example embodiments herein disclose methods, Bluetooth devices, and computer-readable media a capable of providing virtual Bluetooth controller (VBC) interfaces for a number of applications. In particular, an example method includes determining a number of applications configured to communicate with a Bluetooth device. Further, the method includes determining a number of virtual Bluetooth controller (VBC) interfaces for the number of applications, where the number of VBC interfaces correspond to respective Bluetooth static random (BSR) addresses of a number of BSR addresses. Yet further, the method includes determining one or more advertising packets for the number of VBC interfaces, where the one or more advertising packets include the respective BSR addresses of the number of BSR addresses. In addition, the method includes transmitting, via a radio of the Bluetooth device, the one or more advertising packets for the number of VBC interfaces.

A wireline communications circuit using transceivers compatible with a wireless communications protocol is disclosed using access points and stations in an adaptive Time Division Multiple Access scheme for a multi-channel medium with colocated transceivers. Methods of operating an access point and a station, their implementations as chips and the implementation of a chip for either the access point or station are further disclosed.
