The invention concerns a suction muffler for a hermetic refrigerant compressor with a housing having an inlet and an outlet and limiting at least one muffling chamber, and a gas supply channel located in the muffling chamber between the inlet and the outlet. It is endeavoured to prevent too much oil from remaining in the refrigerant gas flow. For this purpose, the gas supply channel forms a throttling path and ends in the muffling chamber, and that in the area of the inlet of the gas supply channel an oil extraction opening is located, which ends in the muffling chamber.

The invention relates to a piston compressor, particularly a hermetically enclosed refrigerant compressor, with a crank drive, having a crank shaft with an eccentric crank pin and an oil channel arrangement, and a connecting rod with a first piston-side connecting rod eye and a second pin-side connecting rod eye, said eyes having between them a connecting rod shank with a longitudinal channel, which opens into the connecting rod eyes. In this compressor, it is endeavoured to improve the lubricating conditions. For this purpose a bearing element is arranged between the crank pin and the second connecting rod eye, which is unrotatably connected with the second connecting rod eye under formation of an oil channel, the longitudinal channel communicating with the oil channel and a control arrangement being provided, which ensures a communication between the oil channel and the oil channel arrangement at least once per rotation of the crank pin.

Piston compressor, particularly hermetically enclosed refrigerant compressor

The invention concerns a piston compressor, particularly a hermetically enclosed piston compressor, with a housing, in which a motor is arranged, the motor having a crankshaft with a vertically standing crank pin that has in its upper front side an opening, which is connected with an oil supply arrangement. It is endeavored to reduce an external oil circulation. For this purpose, the opening is provided with a limiting arrangement, which limits an axially directed movement of lubricating oil from the opening to a predetermined area.

Piston compressor

The invention relates to a refrigerant compressor comprising at least one piston-cylinder unit and one valve plate that has at least one outlet opening. The piston has a projection which projects into the outlet opening when the piston is located near the upper dead center thereof. The aim of the invention is to increase the efficiency and to reduce the noise level. To these ends, the invention provides that the outlet opening, piston projection, valve plate and piston delimit a flow channel, and provides that the free cross-sectional area of the flow channel is determined by the smallest cross-sectional area of the outlet opening until the piston, during its pressure stroke at least the height (H) of the outlet opening, is located underneath the upper dead center. The invention also provides that, during the remainder of the pressure stroke of the piston, the relative reduction of the free cross-sectional area of the flow channel is less than the relative reduction in volume of the pressure chamber, and provides that at least 45% of the volume of the outlet opening is occupied by the projection when the piston is located in the upper dead center thereof.

The outer side of the curve of the gas path (,) is unimpeded. The step height (H) is from 0.3 to 1.0 times, and the step length (L) from 0.2 to 1.0 times, the hydraulic diameter (d) of the outlet section (,). As a result thereof, the unavoidable recirculation flow is located in a position where its undesirable effect is limited.
