Methods for determining the presence of an unmeasured chemical in an environment can include receiving a plurality of sensor readings from a plurality of chemical sensors, wherein each chemical sensor of the plurality of chemical sensors is configured to detect a different chemical, determining a cross-sensitivity pattern from one or more unmeasured chemicals in the plurality of sensor readings, comparing the cross-sensitivity pattern with one or more known chemical patterns, determining that the cross-sensitivity pattern matches at least one of the one or more known chemical patterns that correspond to one or more chemicals, and identifying one or more unmeasured chemicals based on determining that the cross-sensitivity pattern matches the at least one of the one or more known chemical patterns.

A method of determining the likelihood of a slip or fall comprises receiving, by a detection application stored in a non-transitory memory and executed on a processor, a plurality of sensor readings from a plurality of movement sensors, comparing, by the detection application, the plurality of sensor readings with a plurality of movement patterns stored in a database, determining, by the detection application, that at least one of the movement patterns of the plurality of movement patterns matches the plurality of sensor readings, and generating, by the detection application, an indication that a slip or fall is likely based on the plurality of sensor readings. The plurality of movement sensors is associated with different areas of a worker's body.

System for integrating multiple sensor data to predict a fall risk

A worker monitoring system. The system comprises a processor, a display, a data store, a non-transitory memory, and an application stored in the non-transitory memory. The application stores definitions of associations of electronic monitors to workers in the data store, receives information from the electronic monitors via a wireless communication link, based on accessing the data store, analyzes information from a plurality of electronic monitors associated with one of the workers, corroborates information from a first electronic monitor associated with the one or the workers using information from a second electronic monitor associated with the one of the workers, and based on the corroboration of the information from the first electronic monitor, and presents an alarm indication on the display.

Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for communication between one or more personal protection equipment (PPE) devices, a mobile device, and a central monitoring station. Personnel may wear PPE devices for detection and communication. These portable devices may communicate wirelessly, over a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) network, via Bluetooth, or another wireless connection. Systems may include a smartphone application operable to receive and combine information from each of the PPE devices. The application may also display the information to the user. In some embodiments, the application may transfer the data to a cloud storage network via a cellular network. Additionally, the application may communicate the combined data from all of the PPE devices to the central monitoring station.
